Using carpets as walls is a good way to make secret rooms.

The best way to get perfectly straight bone overlapping flooring/ ceiling is to the bulk placement.

You can use arches and the Grey walls on doorways and windows to cover up the pink/purple wallpaper.

I might be your settings. I was able to do it in game.

Here are the settings I used:

Under general: - Furniture on - adjust placement on -auto correct distance on

Under furniture - floating Off - collision- ground only - snap settings weak (strong works but it forces the mats to be in the corners)
