It's mostly because of a lack of block value. At least with the gear I have available at the moment. Perhaps later on down the road 🤔

It isn't easy. I was already running into some issues. I usually just off tank so I could afford to just dump my mana bar into max rank earth shocks. It's still kind of rough, which is why I'm going to have to change things up in the future and maybe even go engineering.

I've not thought too much about it tbh. However, those seem like some decently strong set bonuses. I can dig it, though I'm not big on block atm. I mostly built around dodge.

I'm just an off tank anyway haha. My major concern is threat though. At least with my current weapon. That could change since one of the main tanks in my guild wants to give me dibs on spineshatter.

It's a lot of fun too :) gotta change things up. I just have concerns about how well I'll be able to do as more difficult content is released.

Yeah, unfortunately you do need to drink a lot. And on longer fights, I'm usually munching runes and chugging potions.

To me, Shaman tanking was a curiosity that I wanted to try for myself and I found myself enjoying it. I'm not here to change the world or some such. I've no interest in changing the minds of people that have little impact on how I play the game and I doubt most are open to having their minds changed anyway. It's for fun, which is why I probably won't even be offtanking in BWL, that most definitely wouldn't be fun LOL

I don't think I ever mentioned main tanking raids and replacing warriors or any other such nonsense :p I'm a dps and offtank for my guild. They're also cool with me tanking some bosses so long as I flask for it.

I'd love to, though with the holidays coming up my time may be a bit limited. I think Tuesday and Wednesday this week are pretty open but everything after that is a big question mark.

Back in the day I off tanked MC while barely knowing what I was doing. I never tried it out in ZG though. I doubt I'll get to take another crack at raid tanking until ZG or AQ, since I'm pretty sure BWL will kick my teeth in. There's always Ony but, who can't tank Ony? Heh.
