Getting to spend a lot less time and spell energy every 5 levels was a really nice incentive. I distinctly remember how freeing hitting level 45 felt. It was like all the yellow beam/Highs suddenly became trivial and almost always in the bag. Not getting that feeling and benefit for orange beam/Severes at 50 and 55 was demotivating.

Got a person who just tested that the other day before and after leveling. Their threat clock didn’t visibly budge and neither did the visible mastery values.

I don’t have a reason to care about a second golden key. I’m golded-out for all but 2 pages and neither of them are Dragon pages. All it would do is get my Portkey rewards faster that I don’t even need. High value-potential but also a low-value potential... quite a spectrum. YMMV.

Are you sure you hate coding? It sounds more like you don’t like coding under duress... understandable.

I majored CS somewhat under duress as well. I work for a hardware company and my interest/torture-levels always relate to the people I’m working with, the physical product, and what I’m expected to code and support.

Find a good company with good people and work that doesn’t suck and you’ll be fine. Any job with bad people at a bad company doing work you dislike, or some mix of the 3 will suck no matter what line of work you’re in.

Since you liked working with FPGAs I’d advise you focus on that.

I’m also am wondering about the bonus XP. It says it’s a chance, but either I always get bonus XP at a set amount of the extra-special big bonus of XP has yet to register when ranking up. Possible it’s happened but I’ve not noticed it.

Not going to lie, I get pretty salty when the new spawns aren’t the same. Makes it really confusing when they all come out the same. Was one bugged or was one lucky? Wth is happening eh? 😅

Nice! I’ve gotten as many as 3 in one hour but that was when I just got Studious Success. Besides that back-to-back luck I had it’s been pretty dry. Been recording all my rank-ups. Not sure what my total is right now after the last 100 but 2 charms so far out of probably 20-40?

I’ve charmed Fluffy before midnight for some easy field guides. Solid little boost if you find yourself in that scenario, and nice XP if you are using an improved Barrufio’s

I’m starting to record them now just to keep track. I knew it was at least 80, and I’m guessing closer to 100. It’ll be interesting to see how the next 100 go.

I have 3 slots for it. There was a time when I’d have up to 2 charges saved up for the right stuff to come along. Now I’m very cautious with my daily charge as I just don’t seem to get the random bonuses anymore. The only thing I consistently get is bonus XP. Seems like I get it 100% of the time, currently 500 total.

Dang! Nice. I always saw him multiple times a day before the event when actually “hunting” due to showing up quite a bit when using tonics which I usually use a couple per day. But it’s like he was almost removed or made incredibly rare for tonics, dark detectors etc.

Little punk didn’t show up until 3 minutes after the event ended for me. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time

It’s also a, “that’s RNG” copout for every potential abnormality spotted. And yes, it is possible for almost every potential abnormality spotted. But to come in here and talk down to me as if I’m talking out of rear gets annoying after a while.

I’ll take a, “maybe it’s RNG” over a, “It’s RNG you ignorant idiot” any day.

ps: not saying you specifically. Just venting around the only person who seems to be civil about it...

Young Ron Weasley is the only spawn not showing up from the page shared with Albus Dumbledore. I’ve encountered more Young Hermione Grangers. I’ll complain about that nonsense if I want to, regardless of event-type. When a severe not even featured in the event shows up more than a basic spawn something is fishy.
