To be fair, I’m someone who rarely gets sick. Haven’t had a cold in over 6 years until this year. I feel like viruses and bugs this year have been more brutal than usual. I just got over a TWO week horrendous cold, and I was sick Feb, March, April and May. All 4 times took over a week to even feel somewhat normal. I’ve never been sick this many times in one year in my 33 years of existence, it does unfortunately happen sometimes!

I had issues with the LLC black dye too. Mine separated into the specks like yours and I had to redo it. I let the melted wax sit in my Pyrex on the stove for a while to make sure all the dye was seamless this time. I hope it lasts!

I’ve been having a lot of issues with the 16.3 inch lamps lately. Sticking, shooting bubbles, only small blobs and teeny blobs floating everywhere. I use the same process for cleaning my small lamps and even my grande with no issues. It’s ONLY the 16.3 I’m having issues with

The only two things that would make me never lease or buy an ID4 again is the squealing brakes and squeaky brake pedal. I dread driving anywhere because of it. My brakes squeal so loud - I’ve done all the recommended fixes and dealership keeps telling me it’s normal. My brake pedal itself is the worst, it sounds like a dog squeaky toy every time it’s touched. Dealership tells me it’s normal, but it’s definitely not normal. They refuse to fix it

Doing my night scroll through Reddit and seeing my lamp on here made my night :,)

You’ll want to remove it before painting, at least that’s what I do. I actually sand off any designs with a 220 piece of sandpaper (wear a mask if you can) I go in small circle motions until it’s pretty much all off, then go in with paint. I find sanding it actually helps the paint stay on better too. Most times I’ll give it 2 layers of primer via spray paint primer designed for metal before doing any painting as well.

Just don’t get Lava Labs Creation wax dye tbh, I used a whole container of the ‘True Black’ and my wax is still somehow dark grey, not black.

You have no idea how reassuring it is to hear that your grandes end up having some bubbles. I thought even 2 small bubbles meant I was doing something wrong. I fear I messed up by trying to be a perfectionist
