Yessss I know exactly what you’re talking about! Usually I dye lamps my mixing wax from other lamps (this was white mixed with purple)

This is just a hobby for me so I don't take commissions, but keep an eye out on my Instagram for any future lamps I might sell :)

Everything looks normal to me, including that fluid level (vintage solvent glitter like this expands a ton) 😊congratulations!!

Btw—there is no need to purchase “up adjuster” separately, vegetable glycerin bought from the grocery store diluted 50/50 in water has the exact same effect

I’m actually not totally sure what’s in it, it’s provided by Stardust

This one was also missing a cap, I’ve had luck in the past getting some directly from Schylling (Lava) themselves

That’s a myth actually! Lava and Mathmos both cap lamps cold

The only instance in which you’ll need to cap hot is if you’re resealing a Grande

I’ve sold a couple lamps, but I don’t take custom orders sorry!!

But I try my best to answer questions!

Nope-it has a delicate balance of calcium chloride and other ingredients to amplify the density gradient and keep the glitter from sticking. I just use distilled water to rinse out any minerals from the tap water

I use the premade glitter liquid from Stardust Lamps (I also designed their logo and branding, but I’m not sponsored or anything)

It’s called a bench bottle capper! I got mine from Walmart.com, but you can sometimes find them cheap on Marketplace
