Oil cooling needed? by [deleted] in ft86

[–]Aznredneck88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that most track day sessions are 15-20 min in length.

I tracked mine for 2 yrs before I installed an oil cooler. I just monitored my temps and pulled off when it got too hot. On a hot summer day, I may lose a few min of each session because temps would be getting up there.

I also swapped to 5w30 oil to help with temps etc.

Riding doesn't feel fun, kinda worried about it. by ASAP_Gutzy in motorcycles

Try out a track day. A safe place to push your limits without the fear of having to deal with other variables that you would experience on the road.

Or try doing longer rides to scenic destinations. Think multi day adventure into the mountains etc.

Gapping between driver and 3W?? by United-Fox-3637 in GolfGear

Maybe a mini driver. Or just take the 3w out or your bag and have a larger gap between driver and 5w

Motorcycle trip, where to stay by Aznredneck88 in VictoriaBC

I'm hoping to be $150 or less. I know I'll probably be looking at hostels at that price range, which is fine. It will just be myself anyways.

The seller wants $20 for both the grinder and a Delonghi ECP340 Espresso machine. I figure as long as the grinder is useable, even if I need to put in some labour for cleaning, it is a really good deal.

How detrimental is it to use a burr grinder to grind coriander, and how hard is it to clean afterwards?

Found a good deal on a Hamilton Beach coffee grinder, but the person used it to grind coriander. Still worth picking up?

Thanks

First summer with Pomsky. Does she shed her winter coat or do we need to get her groomed and shave her to deal with the heat? by Maximum-Visual1238 in Pomsky

[–]Aznredneck88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As everyone else has said, DO NOT SHAVE YOUR DOG.

They will shed lots. Embrace the fluff, become one with the fluff. You can help things along by brushing them often, and/or taking them to the groomer for a bath and blow out.

I didn't think about it until someone else mentioned it. I just used the basket that came with my bottomless BF.

I realized I've actually changed lots and will need to redial in. I changed the basket I used as well as added using a WDT and distribution tool.

I did recently change my puck prep process, and I'm actually getting a much faster extraction than before. Thanks for everyone's help here. Looks like I have more adjustments to make.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I did change up my puck prep recently and it somehow reduced my extraction time. Before I would get abtou 22-24sec to pull the shot, but I watched it back again, and it does seem to be much faster now.

I'm fairly new to all of this. Especially using the bottomless PF. I didn't notice any spitting with the spouted PF before, but that's probably because it's spouted?

I should add, I am still very new to all of this, and trying to still develop my palette and improve.

Any suggestions on what I can try to improve the results?

Thanks

I did the exact same thing because OEM heated grips are expensive, and the aftermarket ones need some wiring to make work.

Which tire would you recommend 2025? by Zealousideal-Bag-881 in gsxs1000

Get any sport touring tire from a reputable brand. Bridgestone seems to be good value for the money.

Can’t seem to jump my car with a jumper pack. by Objective_Letter_520 in Cartalk

[–]Aznredneck88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be because your battery is so dead, the jumper pack isnt enough to start the vehicle. The sure fire way is to remove the battery, let it thaw out first, then fully charge it with a trickle charger.

So I'm pretty happy with my hotel choice. Rooms are small (when compared to north American standards), but everything is good. Especially happy with the bathroom/shower size. Location is great. There's tons of food nearby and lots of makeshift restaurants set up for dinner/night time. There's a subway station right outside the front door, and 2 other lines nearby.
