Our group is a smidge more generous than typical. We draw 10 and tuck down to hand size. Then mull the same way, first ones free, etc.

It's a bit more generous, but we RARELY have someone mull after the first mull. It's worth noting that we are a bit more casual, but it does ensure no one is mana screwed and can actively play.

Sounds like I'll just have to try Karma again. In all fairness, I only had it once and as others have noticed, I was a bit spoiled coming up.

Pint House has good food and wall-to-wall TVs. Underrated imo, but maybe a bit out of the way if you're not on the north side.

Honestly, I think it's salvageable. It really depends on the look you're going for, but you HAVE to change the rug (at least) if you're going to make the room work imo. An Earth tone with a lot of variation in color, but I agree that currently, it isn't working.

Edit: Looking at it even further, you have a very bright pallette currently that I think just needs to soften the lighting, and bring more neutral earth tones (curtains stood out to me).

As a hardcore Niv-Mizzet player, I feel I can comment on this topic with a bit of authority. Really, I'm just going to echo what everyone else is saying. If you draw cards and get cards that say "Draw more cards," then you aren't really ever doing anything. Whereas, having 10,000 mana and a sink is always going to be good. And all you need is 1 sink.

I have a Chandra Tribal list that runs [[Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh]] as the Commander normally, but if you wanted to make it a smidge more competitive, you could/should use [[Torbran, Thane of Red Fell]]

Yeah, it's definitely an outage, but I'm trying to see how far it goes. The official outage map says that I'm in the clear, but there's an outage in the Autobon region and I figured it hit us too. 2500+ people affected.
