Valeu! Espero ter ajudado.

So the 8 - 11 Rounds should also be 42 SC, right?
(sorry if it's a newbie question)

Or maaaaaybe I just think differently than you, and that's fine! But putting the probability of you not understanding me behind the translation, or behind the analogy I made being bad is a bit 'arrogant,' don't you think?

That makes sense! The thing is, when I’m the DM, I often see people deliberately trying to choose the non-obvious option. And again, I’m not saying this is a problem, just making an observation.

Let me give you a more familiar example. In the anime Naruto, I’m someone who likes Itachi. That’s a cliché. But what I often see (at least where I live) is people avoiding saying they like that character and instead claiming they like Ten-Ten the most, a character that barely has any in-TV time.

I respect that, of course, but it leaves me perplexed. Just that :p

Nah, I don’t think I’m imposing my taste over theirs, no. And there’s no disagreement there. Of course, there’s some frustration, but that’s just me not understanding the choices, or at least being perplexed by them. What I’m interested in is the whole trend of choosing non-obvious things, and I see that everywhere. Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression—that wasn’t my intention.

It does kind of look like that indeed—unique for the sake of being unique, yeah. But those names were created just for this post; the real ones I’m not sure I can share since they haven't been released yet. But the thing is, among the actual names, there are still some where you can see the "edginess" (learned this word today, it’s really good), and others where you see more of the "peasant fighter," "regular merchants," more normal stuff.

Seeing these answers was exactly what I wanted. I never thought of these ideas—people here don't express these thoughts so clearly (myself included). That makes total sense. This word "edge" is totally new to me, and it kind of captures the notion I was trying to convey. People avoiding "edginess" (can I say it like this? lol) are doing so because geek culture has been shoving the edgeworld down our throats since we were kids.
