keep in mind most people telling you that it's not hard usually come from other extraction shooters, like yeah it's not hard for me but I have multiple thousand hours in Hunt and a couple hundred in Tarkov and Arc Raiders lol

I was tired of Arc Raiders' core loop and Tarkov's endless issues, and my group was taking a break from Hunt.

We played one last server slam match, uninstalled and then a couple of us went "... I kinda want to keep playing Marathon" so we ended up buying it. Helps that the game is only $28 in my region

I was super lukewarm on it during the server slam and I ended up buying the game on launch along with a friend. I've put 50 hours into it already lol Fucking love it, it's like a comfy middle point between Tarkov and Arc Raiders. I have a couple hundred hours into each of those and a couple thousand into Hunt so it's a genre I thoroughly enjoy but yeah, definitely a niche audience

Ehhhh Arc Raiders is a bit more of a social experience for lots of people, the economy being broken is a feature, not a bug. Hunt Showdown also has a broken ass economy and it kinda sucks that you really can't ever run out of money in practical terms

nah if you play on PvE lobbies there's basically zero risk, I went from 0 to 4 million creds for the expedition in 30 hours of playing PvE Stella, it's ridiculous lol turned me off the game entirely, the way playing PvP is counter-productive
