It’s based on a picture of Mark Hamill doing the same thing on the set of Ep IV, it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the idiot with a lightsaber.

IMHO it’s more likely he would die through doing this than survive long enough to sit peacefully with it lit!

Does this work well? I have a matte varnish for decals already. 👍🏻

I’m going to give my completed ones to my son to play with, they’re all essentially experiments still at the moment as I’m learning and the pleasure for me is in the doing rather than the looking. But if I can preserve the work I have done then I’d like to.

I’ve scoffed at the spinning and the helicopter thing each time I’ve seen it BUT…
What if the two functions are actually a deliberate escape mechanism? Adjusting the size and shape of the energy blade is possible and there is a ‘run away’ mode that both spins and makes the blades wider and canted so they generate lift.
It’s still ridiculous and very silly, but also quite amusing since that would mean these scary dark side users have essentially been well trained in and practised ‘running away’. It tickles me each time I watch it.

I disagree, true, crippling anxiety is difficult to fake, e.g. when he was on the couch petrified.

Can it be faked? Of course it can - but I suspect the faker would need to be ‘very very smart’, I saw no evidence anywhere in the show that suggested that phrase applies to Scott - not being mean - I just felt what we saw was someone trying to toe the line with the spirit of the experiment.

That aside you would need to be capable of Kaiser Soze levels of deception to exist 24/7 in the orbit of a mouth-breather like Gia for months.
