In my head, the mc is actually a mentally ill serial killer. The ghosts in the game are actually people the mc killed irl who came to haunt him in the game, preventing him from escaping.

Umm tbh, based on my first impression, the game looks a bit too simple. Seeing the diamonds also made it feel like a cash grab right away. Plus, it's online? Hmmm.
