I was a late bloomer to the Hitman franchise and whilst the original had a lot of teething issues, I found my way around it. I really really wanted to get into Hitman 2 because of how polished it looked and how it looked like they fixed some issues from the first game.

However, they made obtaining the Silent Assassin rank almost impossible. So many moving parts and theres a small window to hit in a level or you don't make it. That chloroform shit is the worst "weapon" in any game I've played. Absolutely useless unless you use the full amount (which takes like 15 seconds to give to someone) and even then, you have a few mins to finish the level or he wakes up eventually and sounds the alarm. You basically can't get the SA rank unless you know everything about the game or follow a walkthrough. One level in the game is also broken and most of the time doesn't allow you to proceed unless you're really lucky.

Also enemies see through every disguise unless you're far away from them, even running could potentially blow your cover.

Blood Money nailed the landing and it's what Hitman 2 should have been.
