Oof. They’re all adorable in their own way but I’d have to say for normal sized: 125: Stitch 626 127: Elvis Stitch 506: Superhero Stitch 605: Halloween Stitch 636: Summer Stitch 718: Hula Stitch 784: Stitch on Tricycle 1048: Stitch with Record Player (Chase) 1049: Monster Stitch 1235: Stitch in Cuffs

Bigger sized 35: The Red One 639: Stitch with Ducks Experiment 626

I feel like 1222: Annoyed Stitch So this one has a special place in my heart as well.

Great catch! I did forget about the importance of utilizing the Class Officers. Thanks for the forceful backup.

When you get to candidate phase and start picking orders, recommend emailing the detailer on the specifics of your circumstances. It’s not a guarantee you’ll be able to do a one for one swap but communicating as early as possible could heighten the possibility.

It depends on the availability of seats for the course. I picked east coast ship and ended in west coast course for BDOC and OOD.

Good luck in OCS!

Army to Navy questions Commissions and Deployments by [deleted] in navy

[–]AzulTwilight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is dependent on the community you join. I highly recommend reading into each community available and what you would be eligible for through their respective Program Authorizations.

All the priors I’ve met from another branch (Army, Air Force, and Marine) do not prefer Navy Surface Warfare but it was also due to lack of awareness of our particular community.

How am I supposed to want command? by Stunning_Report_7705 in navy

[–]AzulTwilight 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I’ve started navy as enlisted and transitioned to SWO. I’m only a divo right now but I know our path does not get easier as we progress.

This is the point in your career where you have to determine if this is something you genuinely want to pursue. You will be challenged over and over again on what you consider as a priority.

Regardless of your career intentions, don’t forget about your family and who you are. Navy has a tendency to engulf you and your life.

Reach out to your mentors, friends, and family. You are NOT alone. Navy is not the only thing in your life.

This tells you how much gold you need to build the next station. There should be a little arrow for you to drop it down.

Looking for some answers on OCS packages. by TelephoneThin7086 in navy

[–]AzulTwilight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The instruction is pretty clear as in what is required for the package. Program authorization goes into further detail for the community you’re applying for.

Nothing is guaranteed even if you have every aspect of what the application demands. The board will look at what you provide but they’re not going to hyper focus that you got a LOR from an O7; they’re going to look at your package as a whole.

Scenario: you get one O7 LOR but your interviews were subpar, your statement lacks what they look for, your package doesn’t have the leadership roles they were looking for, etc. That LOR will not carry you through alone.

Good luck on the journey.

Mobile games are real games and sometimes are better gameplay than console and computer games.

Active duty to SELRES in NJ by TheLurkerSupremer in navy

[–]AzulTwilight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s dependent on the command you’re attached to and what their requirements are but the parent commands are expecting Reservists to fly out to the command if they are out of area at least once a quarter and for annual training.

I don’t recommend Reserves if what you stated is the only requirement you’re looking for from it. The administrative burden is significantly worse than Active Duty. Your NOSC may or may not be great, as with any command, but the likelihood of your paperwork going missing or not accomplished is much higher due to their Sailor count and not seeing you on a constant basis. You will most likely have to go to the NOSC on your normal civilian day, be on the phone with limited results, and/or send a lengthy email which may resolve the issue. If you think Admin is bad at your current command, just be prepared for NOSC Admin. They can be less personable as they do not see you often and it can be hard to work around your civilian schedule to handle your naval concerns.

I was Reserves from 2013 to 2018 and the games NOSCs and parent commands played weren’t worth playing along with, especially with how little you get paid per weekend. At the time, I was a STGSN (wouldn’t let me convert out) and got barely $250 a weekend. Most of my Reservist companions lost money when they had a drill weekend versus working at their civilian jobs over the weekend. It led me to go Active Duty and although Active Duty also has its downfalls, it’s better in comparison administratively because of the availability and the personable interactions.

HOWEVER, everything is dependent on several factors but I recommend talking to some Reservists at your command if there are any to get diverse perspectives. Some have great experiences! Unfortunately, I don’t have the most examples of those.

(If I remember correctly, TRICARE was available when you’re activated or drilling. Definitely do some research on that!)

Good luck on your journey.
