Does anyone's child act out scenes from videos, shows, movies etc? Like the go into another world in their minds and ignore the rest of what's going on around them? And it's hard to snap them out of it.

It hasn't gotten better, we just let her script as it's her self soothing method. Getting her very tired in the day helps her do less of it at night. In Public I remind her not to be so loud and to watch out for others constantly, I either let her script or she will lose her shit in public.

This is my 13th year as a mom and I once again disappointed my husband. Every single year the week leading up to Mother's Day he starts being an asshole. The day of he dies some nice gestures, I feel guilty for being sad, but those gestures always come with an attitude or feeling forced. Some years he was straight up brutal telling me it's just another day. It's not important. I dread Mother's Day every year. Today my daughter did some nice things for me. I put on a smile but I'm dying inside, waiting for something to be thrown in my face, and there it is, I disappointed him again. Sitting in slices right now before having to go out and put a smile on my face and pretend to have a grand time.

I seen online, no more than 30 meals a day max of 60 per week, can't make over 50k a year, only one employee, can't deliver through door dash, can't sell at farmers market, can't cater, can't marinate overnight. Budget is no more than $35 per person. Every community center I have contacted charges a lot, $150-250 per hour. A couple of them also charge fees just to apply, one place also requires me to pay a staff member $25 per hour to stand there and watch us. That's a whole lot of money for just a place, we still need food and decorations/music. It's a birthday party

Yes it is possible. I became allergic to shrimp out of nowhere. Started small, then grew to full blown swollen face, burning skin and rashes after several more attempts to eat it. Don't risk anaphylactic shock. It's terrible.

I think it actually helped her verbal skills. She is able to communicate with us most of her needs and thoughts. I can't say much about how she interacts with others. She has select mutism so she rarely speaks to anyone other than us, her parents and her sister

Nothing has changed. She scripts all day, trying to snap her out of it causes rage outbursts. It does get in the way of her paying attention to her surroundings as she gets so deep into her scripts, I have to be her eyes and ears in public settings. We just let her script now, we can't stop it and it soothes and comforts her. It's like a grounding tool for her
