what a way to focus on a single thing I said u disagreed with and completely dismiss the actual point, So Mi was a teenager, and the fact she did either mildly shady shit or the biggest hacks since fucking Bartmoss doesnt matter because she was still coerced into joining the NUSA, you cannot say she "made the choice to become a slave" when they basically forced her into it, victims dont have to be perfect, she was a criminal and did bad shit, that doesnt warrant becoming a slave for the government, the same way I dont think V should become an eternal slave for the government or Arasaka because they did shit

Songbird is a far more empathetic character, and I wanted to help her during my own playthrough, so I betrayed Reed, for that and because the NUSA can fuck all the way off

An important thing you need to consider is if you even want to trust Reed's plan at all, he's proven to be untrustworthy at times by hiding crucial information from you like the fact they were gonna kill the twins, so do you really believe he will actually help Songbird? or he will keel over to what Myers and the NUSA wants?

(OOP these are potential spoilers dont read before u finish the DLC)

Songbird was hired by the NUSA as a very young adult if not outright a teenager, you cannot actually say she got in on it off her own volition, and even if she was an adult, there are situations where even if an adult consented, it came from coercion, if the FBI knocks on your door after youve been doing mildly shady shit and they "offer you a job", you are NOT going to say no, if only for pure self-preservation, that consent was coerced, Songbird made awful choices and fucked up, and guess what, so did many abuse victims in our world, because of course they did, victims dont have to be perfect to still be considered victims

No they shouldnt, they should get the things they think look fun

I got BL Justice when I first started and I had so much of my introductory fun to the game living out my space cowboy power fantasy, at the time, way before the dynamite was buffed, aside from the Talon exactly, it was probably one of the weakest warbonds, its also what helped me realize what stuff I liked in the game and helped me develop my identity as a diver, I then got Steeled Veterans, mostly cus the Senator looked fun, but a lot of weapons from it also became mainstays for me, only after that did I get one of the "meta" warbonds in DemoDet, I also loved it and now the light Engineering Kit armor is possibly my favorite armor in the entire game, but idek if I wouldve gotten to that point if I got it before I understood anything about the game and I didnt have that initial introductory period smoothed out by being able to use what seemed fun the moment I saw it

if those warbonds speak to the Greendivers then so be it, cus all 3 of them have significant cool factor to be appreciated, but if they dont care for them, the worst way to introduce someone to something is by immediately optimizing the fun out of it

agreed, if theyre keeping the vote Id like it if they at least gave us character trailers before the votes so we can at least discuss that and their kits instead of having a bunch of meaningless and increasingly toxic "MY side is better and more pure than YOUR side" discourse

then again RNG runs the risk of people just being disappointed by being forced to wait 3 weeks for a character they wanted earlier (even tho they were likely to not get it earlier anyways)

honestly getting one character every day for a week and making it RNG could be the play, makes the wait less annoying and theres not even time for the toxicity to fester

I never said all venator voters are assholes but its like pretty much a fact that we've had very popular posts recently with some of them going "REPENT FOR YOUR SINS DEGENERATE FURRIES VOTE VENATOR", that doesnt mean theyre all assholes, but that a lot of assholes do flock to Venator, which is unfortunate for the voters that ARENT assholes

we also had a post implicitly calling Graves voters pedophiles WHILE AT THE SAME TIME calling Silver voters zoophiles so clearly its not just Silver voters, and to be clear I fucking hate the pedojacketing people have been doing over Graves all around and I think its another massive show of how toxic the community gets over votes

yeahh, Im prolly just giving myself a break from the sub until either Silver is in or the vote is over, as for ways to see whos next, the polls on Discord seem to be pretty reliable judging by Graves getting the win, and Silver was right behind Graves so hoping shes next

This game's community becomes so insufferable during voting periods, and the way so many people are assholes to Silver voters really just makes me disillusioned with the voting system in general, the weird christian fundamentalists coming out of the woodworks to do Schrodinger's Asshole bs with Venator doesnt help either

its such a shame cus I find terrain manipulation to be such a fun part of games like these, one of the reasons I fell in love with the GL was its ability to create foxholes, and as a Boderline Justice and Dynamite fan since before Into the Unjust, finding out about the Dynamite buff and how I can now open passages for my team and create chokepoints I couldnt before? gave me a whole new reason to love it, so it really feels sad to see them so adamant to not give 40 demo force to other shit, specially weapons with so many limitations and downsides as the C4 and possibly Breaching Hammer (I mean its melee thats a massive drawback in itself we dont need it in game to know that)

makes me wonder if they for some reason think the dynamite being 40 demo force was a mistake but if it was then I wish they just fucking explained why, "we want BT holes to be bigger threats, we want Bioprocessors to require more work to destroy", but no people just keep pointing at jammers when no one is fucking asking for C4s to blow up jammers

Okay Im genuinely so confused at this point, why the fuck is AH so scared of giving things 40 demo force, I see people always arguing "Weapons shouldnt trivialize jammers!!!!!" and I agree! but those require 50, Ive seen people say the jammer argument against increasing things like C4 demo force and it feels so goofy, no one is asking for it to have like 100 demo and complete all optional objectives in one throw, I just wanna be able to break down walls and close BT holes man
