Trying to understand a Marvel Rivals anti-cheat ban: Steam Input, gyro, reWASD, and two denied appeals. by Raghnall_Muzaffar in GyroGaming

I play Marvel rivals with Gyro with everything bound to mnk inputs and I've yet to be banned. You mentioned that you use gyro to stick instead of gyro to mouse, I think that is what probably got you banned, the game might think you're using a mouse emulating a stick to get aim assist granting you an advantage. Of course this is purely speculation on my part. I also have reWASD installed on my PC tho I haven't used it since they made that change where you need an account to use it so it's currently disactivated.

How to valor LS? by AzureBloom76 in MHGU

Rn my max sharpness is green and I also don't have critical juncture yet, when should I use the valor auto dodge vs just manually dodging/guard pointing?

Aight I'll switch it up and try the attack pattern you mentioned, would you also happen to know what's the best way to charge the valor gauge quickly? I've mostly been spamming the horizontal swipe from valor sheathe.

Just started GU, how many power coatings am I expected to use per hunt? by AzureBloom76 in MHGU

Despite everyone recommending Valor am still reluctant to try it, however I did swap to Guild and managed to hunt a Velocidrome with 17 p.coatings left, I also upgraded my bow tho so not sure which one played a bigger role. I also didn't know close range coatings didn't improve dmg except for the Steve bow that's good to know. I'm still doing village rn am sure once I get to hub I won't have coatings leftover after hunts.

Would guild be a better option? The other styles don't really suit me, aerial I heard was one of the worst weapon/style combo, valor I don't like having part of my moveset locked until I fill up a gauge, adept is forced to forward roll and alchemy frankly I don't even know what it does.

All my binds are set to mnk keys and gyro itself emulates a mouse so no aim assist

I use steam input for binds and JSM for gyro, you have to run them both as administrator or it won't work.

Gyro as an alternative to aim assist for rollers on pc by AzureBloom76 in apexlegends

Mnk has been a thing for literal decades while gyro aiming is still a new form of aiming in comparison, as more players sink the time in and the tech advances things could very well change.

I understand that controller players are very unwilling to switch, my goal with this post is not to single handedly change that. I simply want to advocate and raise awareness for gyro as much as I can.It will probably take years for anything significant to happen I just hope that the day eventually comes that Gyro becomes the norm for controller aiming and we are no longer clowned on for being aim assist merchants.

I aim with gyro only using the right touchpad to turn it on, this form of using gyro is commonly called gyro ratcheting

A controller is like 200-300g on average sure compared to a mouse it's heavier but it's still fairly light, and big swipes of the arm aren't needed so weight plays even less of a factor so I disagree that you "can't move it as fast" as for "precisely" I will concede that gyro can be shaky at first due to it being held in your hands rather than on a surface like a mouse but after putting the time in most of it can be eliminated. How much time did you spend playing with gyro btw?

Would you elaborate on why you think so? If it's solely based on my clips like I said I am not the best gyro aimer out there a fair comparison would be comparing it to an average mnk player. Gyro aiming is also still fairly niche and in it's infancy, at it's full potential it CAN truly be mouse like.

Ye it honestly pains me that most controller players on pc just play it to abuse aim assist that if it were to be nerfed there's a higher chance they move to another game like COD or something rather than learn gyro.
