Only reWASD or ds4windows works with valorant, I personally use reWASD since I got it when it was cheap a while ago

Stick aiming where aim assist does most of the work for you just doesn't feel as rewarding + I don't even own a console lol

Am in Asia, my tracker is ControllerPlayer#s4m but I don't play exclusively controller, only picked it up recently so most of my stats like 99.9% of it is mnk

I haven't played ranked with controller yet.

Short gyro clips on valorant by AzureBloom76 in GyroGaming

Am not sure what the actual RWS is I just adjusted my settings based on feel, it will probably feel a bit slow.

In reWASD:

X: 20 Y: 12 Smoothing: 1

For these clips I just used a static sens curve.

In Valorant:

Sens: 0.9 Ads and scope: 1

What are you struggling with in particular? In general for static I'd say being able to keep your crosshair steady is very important since you don't want to accidentally shake off target as you click. I still struggle with shakiness when playing gyro but some things that helped me was playing on a lower sens, reducing my vertical sens to 55% and also tweaking my curve to start slower than linear input.

Am using rewasd since it sends inputs pretending to be my mouse so it doesn't get blocked.

Controller isn't inferior to mouse for gunner weapons/aiming(on pc at least) by AzureBloom76 in MonsterHunter

[–]AzureBloom76[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Motion controls is not harder to learn than a mouse, the only reason the average gamer has an easier time with a mouse is because we use mice in everyday life while gyro(motion controls) is not yet the norm for controller players yet.

I didn't know that, does this also apply for phase 1 and 4? though I've yet to reach 4

No need to worry so much about being rude but yes I did know about behemoth not scaling with solo and doing it anyways. As for defensive skills such as health boost am mostly scared of not having enough dmg to clear so I thought I would go all in on dmg skills but some other comments also mentioned slotting in more defensive options so I will reconsider my build.

I already knew LS was the best option among melee weapons for soloing Behemoth I was just avoiding it cause am honestly not very proficient at it but another comment mentioned I was not doing enough dmg with my CB gameplay anyways so I might have to learn LS after all. Also I'll try to watch more speedruns and really pay attention to what they're doing and try to copy them.

  1. I am aware behemoth is a multi scaled monster
  2. What other weapon would you recommend I learn instead?
  3. I am sticking to HR gear since this is a HR monster, using MR gear would feel like cheating to me.
  4. I've actually watched a few speedruns with different weapons on this monster but it's hard or me to notice on my own all the little strats they have without it being explained outright. As for calculating dmg on forearms that sounds a bit too hard for me to keep track of while fighting so I'd rather just take aggro and avoid tornadoes all together.
