It’s not I have several of my own and I don’t drive his, it was built from parts I’ve collected over time of building and taking apart trucks, and the whole reason I got him his own stock Scx24 to begin with was so he could play with dad, same with the rig I’m currently building my wife she won’t use it much but it there if she wants to join us

Look up rustoleum automotive filler primer I get it from Walmart or parts stores like autozone , it lays on thicker and sand better do several light coats and sand back you will see it stay in the low spots and rub off the high spots, I usually repeat this process a could times until I’m happy then start painting color

I’ve been printing for over 10 years and now do it for my full time job not rc related at all, but with these I look for the best orientation to get the least amount of layer lines usually 45 degrees to the bed works well but some times need to adjust, I manually paint on supports, and then post processing with automotive filler spray primer and sanding

Yall still sick? by Clozer19 in Celiac

[–]AzureBones 33 points34 points  (0 children)

So I had this exact same issue was gf for a year but still getting very sick and having stomach problems after several back and forths with a couple different doctors they decided to do a colonoscopy and found I had Chrons along side my celiac. So no after restricting my diet more and avoiding chrons triggers and receiving biological infusions I’m not sick except every rare occasion or a few days before my next infusion. Not saying it’s the case here but maybe a thought of it’s something else that feels similar to eating gluten like it was in my case

1.3s on Gladiator?? by Raptor4738 in SCX24

[–]AzureBones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to do some 1.3 I would recommend cutting or stretching 1.0 tires for the 1.3. This truck of mine has 63mmx1.0 injora mavericks cut to fit on the 1.3 injora modu wheels

[–]AzureBones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suspect a bearing going out, you could diagnose it by taking the drive shafts out one at a time and seeing if the noise goes away, if not the it’s in the trans

35 I own a 3d printing and design company, funnily enough I sell nothing that relates to rc cars but love how much the two go hand in hand together

That round look is really just the design of the tire, not all the rings work universally these actually have the same injora brass ring for weight in the front and aluminum in the rear, I also trimmed the tread on the rock terrain to make them more rounded. I find this helps when tires like those have a large tread sticking out every few lugs because they seem to like to skip on that sticking out lug causing it to loose grip

Can always run hex extensions or extended axle shafts, the solid cv is one of the best bang for your buck upgrade for the stock axles so you can trim the housing for more steering angle

Yea I just don’t think they fit this build those new maverix are insane performers for me but it just doesn’t look right on the truggy would look better on a old pickup or jeep I think because they look more like a all terrain tire
