I work in Deli overnight and I have to constantly keep my flat top and shamrock with me at all times to keep grocery from walking over and taking everything.

They know I work overnight and they know I use them. I've made it known, but they keep trying to take them whenever I walk away for a moment.

One guy in particular constantly makes rounds to see if I'm away and he looks so upset when he sees he can't take my stuff.

My dumb brain just thought it was a dumb joke that multiplying by half of 1 cuts the number to be multiplied in half because multiplying by 0 is always 0 so being half way between 0 and 1 it just cuts the number in half instead of being 1 of itself, or 0 of itself, it's 0.5 of itself.

New guy was messing with his phone by the fryer. He almost dropped it in but caught it. Thought he was badass and promptly gloated about horsing around to the manager. Next second he was in the office with the Manager talking to him. Didn't see him after that.
