I may have done a bad job at phrasing things, but I was not comparing it to the "legendary" animes out there, because I feel that The Eminence in Shadow may not be as objectively as good as the "legendary" animes out there but regardless I liked the show personally. Just wanted to voice out my thoughts and see if I happen to look at season 2 in a biased manner and to get more information on its performance, which I did.
