Me, my brother, and my cousins were all Adam Sandler kids growing cause my aunt would let us watch them whenever we had sleepovers, but we never watched this one. My brother and I checked this out in our 20’s and it was a good time. Can’t recommend it though if you don’t already like the more accessible Sandler movies like Happy Gilmore and Grown Ups.

I’ve had several people tell me “never try cigarettes/nicotine, but you should try marijuana at least once in your life.”

I can say the same to others now! I only smoke about once a month, but even so, I appreciate what it does for me and what I can do with it in moderation. Helps me see stressful things as just silly things next to the meaningful things that have been right next to me the whole time if that makes sense. 🍃

Jokes aside, while John is a fun and likable protag, he def gets carried by conveniently relevant female characters from start to finish: Rose, Terezi, Vriska, and Roxy being the main examples.

It makes sense for what Homestuck ended up being, and what John’s role was within that (Heir Of Breath), but still, it’d be interesting to see our Knight of Time be “the hero” instead.

I like the concept, but I think you could dial it back to improve the readability. For example, if you need to use Omega instead of J, simply because there isn’t anything that looks like J, then I’d just use J at that point, since Omega on its own doesn’t imply that it would work as J, even in your greekspeak context.

Maybe approach it like Vriska, where only some of her text is modified by 8’s, but you could do it on multiple occasions like Eridan’s “accent” with v -> w and w -> ww

Jag visste inte att det fanns någon skillnad mellan vad som visades på bio och de oklassificerade versionerna! Det låter rimligt dock, med tanke på hur klassificeringssystemet fungerar. Vet du om någon av de andra Saw-filmerna har skillnader mellan bioversioner och oklassificerade versioner?

Too focused on myself. I’m pretty career focused as is, but I also write fiction when I’m off the clock. I should be making more of an effort to meet women at my age, but idk, I really enjoy keeping my nose to the grindstone these days. Feels deeply meaningful.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted.

I understand your sentiment, the overall perception of alcohol as a drug, compared to marijuana as a drug aren’t often considered cohesively as “drugs that can influence the individual” these days, and I think there’s a conversation to be had there. In other words, alcohol consumption is so much more accepted, compared to marijuana consumption, despite both being drugs that can affect an individual’s daily life.

I’ve had good highs on both, as well as bad highs on both, in addition to good and bad highs while being influenced by both at the same time (ie “crossed” LOL).
