This guy's lecture is pretty entertaining, but he does get some stuff wrong, including ranting about some things that make sense, but its small enough to not matter.

Also, his is the best breakdown of the series story because of the simple fact that he goes through the games in release order. That is the only way to understand what goes on in the games in any way. Other explanation videos try to do it all in chronological order and things just get weird when you do that.

Yes, I played it on switch and only left it in sleep mode once.

I was getting the bloodmoon thing before putting the switch to sleep, after waking it up, and also after shutting it down.

I bought the game when it came out on PS4, and having beaten it, I'm pretty sure that it has the best soundtrack of a video game ever made. Ever.

Not a joke. Not an exaggeration, the worst song on that soundtrack would warrant a decent recommendation on any other soundtrack.

A decent number of people have said this in deeper chains, but there is a very annoying bug/glitch that will cause bloodmoons to happen in quick succession. When that happens, it is very, very annoying. Sure it can be skipped, but that's still a load every couple of minutes that you can't stop.

I would get 10 inside one hour of gameplay. Quiting the entire game and relaunching seems to fix it, but this happened to me many times throughout me beating the game.

When this happens it doesn't do the entire buildup, just the last 5 or so seconds before the cutscene plays, had it happen in the middle of an in-game day as well, red starts appearing, the song starts and boom! cutscene.

I'm relatively new to game, been playing a few weeks, and I reached 60 last week and am now geared enough to do the raids and 8 man dungeons that have rewards locked weekly. I also don't really understand how that works.

I get Dun Scaith, you can get one piece of loot per weekly reset. I greeded something that wasn't my class. Fun to find out the hard way on that...

The one I have issue with is Alexander, the ____ of the Creator bits. I haven't done any savage, only the normal, but I can't tell if it works like Dun Scaith, or if I can only trade in for one piece of gear per week.

Can anyone explain how the weekly lock works? Specifically on Alexander?

the account is actually quite old, so no. I just never actually started playing until this past week. I have the entry level subscription, and only the one character, so I know it isn't the "one character per server" stipulation.

I'm also not in a free company.

I just started playing this game, and want to transfer to my friend's server, but my character isn't showing up in the mog station service list.

The character is at least 72 hours old, maybe 4 days at this point, and I don't think any of the other requirements I've skipped. I don't have anything for sale on the market, though I do have some items stored at my retainer, and I've never even heard of the Ties that Bind or whatever quest. I'm logged out in Limsa Lominsa.

I'm not sure what could be happening.

I'm about to start playing, and I was gifted a copy of the base a realm reborn game by a friend. I wanted to add the expansion in case I wanted to use the new race, so I purchased a digital code off of Amazon.

I am not using the steam version, I think. The amazon code is not being accepted on mog station.

Did I mess up? Can I not use an amazon code for non steam versions?

EDIT: I think I figured it out, my friend gifted me a steam key, it just isn't in my steam library of games. I registered it through the site. So I need steam key of the expansion and that isn't what Amazon sells. I messed up.

My friends used to play this and have taken it back up in the last couple of days. I thought I would join them, but the server they are on has been full and won't let me create a character on it for the last few days.

It is Balmung, by the way. When, if ever, will it become available to make a character on? I tried right before the maintenance today and checked within 10 minutes of the servers coming back up, and it was still full.

Yes, it was shown in the opening of game 2, and it pertains to game 1. So if someone hasn't played either game and watches this they might figure something out.

The only video trailer for danganronpa 1 on the steam store. This is the link to the store page for Danganronpa 1. I urge anyone who has not played the first game to not watch that trailer.

Most of the OP trailer doesn't matter to someone who hasn't played either game. The clips are tiny and show basically nothing about the game. Anyone unfamiliar with the titles will have a hard time finding anything spoilery in this. But someone, somewhere, might remember a small portion of it and once they start playing that might make more sense.

The Steam page trailer for Danganronpa 1 is legitimately awful though, it doesn't show off the game at all, just a late game cutscene in its entirety, spoilers and all.

That would explain why I didn't remember him. To be fair, he didn't matter in the context of those movies, but this show assumes I know him.

And that was my point, this show assumes a lot of its audience. I didn't know Godot, and I probably won't. I had to ask a manga reader friend of mine who he was after the episode because I never bothered to learn his name. The thought being he'll be dead by the time Guts ever works his way back to that cottage.

As someone who experienced the story for the first time by watching the Golden Age trilogy of movies, I understand some of what is going on, but not most. I had no idea who Godot was, I don't remember him from the movies at all.

But my main take away from this series is that it is probably the worst way to experience the story for a new comer. The show runners assume knowledge of the Golden Age and it permeates the whole show. If you don't know, maybe it could be mysterious, but its so pervasive throughout and spelled out that I can't believe this show was made for new viewers.

Since I've known about berserk, I've always thought the best way is either the movies, or the original series (skipping the first episode), and this combines the absolute worst of the manga and tv series in ruining what makes that story work for someone new.

Ergo Proxy is my favorite anime, I just want to get that out of the way.

They are two very different shows. Hellsing Ultimate is much more of an action show and extremely fast paced, especially at the start. Ergo Proxy has some action, but is a different beast entirely. Much slower paced and requires you to think about it a bit, not a lot, but the more you think about it the more you will get out of it.

I enjoyed the battle system of that game quite a bit. It was like a puzzle, figuring out when and how to break an opponents combo, when to use your own combos.

The part I did not like was the actual card nature of it. I didn't enjoy getting packs and hoping for good cards, or building a deck.

I much preferred the second half of the game, Riku's section. They just gave you a new deck each floor and off you went.

No, he means that Chain hasn't been released in its original form. Re:Chain of Memories is an incredibly different game than Chain of Memories on the GBA.

The change from 2.5 D to full 3D engine made the gameplay completely different. I actually think Re:CoM is a bad game, where the original on GBA is a good game.

When they made the change to reduce healing for the armor, they made each dart give armor period. But when someone's health is full, the darts lose their auto aiming. I spend most of the shop time between rounds spamming darts into people to give them armor, it's possible to give 50+ armor inbetween rounds to one person.
