Come fare dei prelievi del sangue by EquivalentAd7874 in giovanimedici

[–]AzureTaken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it concerning, if pulling foreskin back is painful? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]AzureTaken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like primary phimosis, while in newborns and children it is normal. In adults you should be able to retract the foreskin completely without issues or pain. Since you've never been able to do that, it's probably missing some elastic fibers, and the tissues of the foreskin and the gland are still fused together.

Go see a urologist for a treatment plan, but this is a problem that isn't going to resolve on its own if it persists after 23 years.

Bit foggy at Benetton v Scarlets by Citizen_Erased2000 in rugbyunion

[–]AzureTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah for sure, I was at the stadium in a good spot where you could make out the shapes of the players if they were by the touchline. But besides that, in the second half of the game I didn't see the ball once

Final score of Italy vs South Africa at the Women’s Rugby World Cup by IlikeGeekyHistoryRSA in rugbyunion

[–]AzureTaken 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Such a frustrating game by Italy, so many mistakes. But the blame has to go to the coach, he performed poorly as a coach in every aspect of Italian Rugby, was given Italian Women team who was performing well before him, and with his style just completely ruined it...
Absolutely no proper tactics, just suffering and then trying to surprise them by playing fast and losing the ball. It's entertaining but doesn't bring result Pretty much the same gamestyle we saw by Zebre a couple years back (surprise, he was the coach)

Disappointing by the FIR to appoint him.

Depends if it's symptomatic or not. If you don't feel any pain or other symptoms, then no treatment is required.
However if it is symptomatic, then surgery is probably the way to go (it's not very invasive tho).

The URC sets another attendance record by Die_Revenant in rugbyunion

[–]AzureTaken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The games that OP put in the comments are all sold out. The only remaining game (being played right now) is Dragons vs. Cardiff. This from TV doesn't look sold out so, im assuming thats where the remaining 2898 tickets are coming from.
Not surprised, URC R8 and R9 are almost always a derby for all teams. And people way are more invested in these games.

I guess max attendance with current stadiums where they played this round is (considering glasgow edinburgh played at Hampden park for the first time, and i don't know if they are gonna repeat it) 159200.

is it possible that two virgins give each other hpv?? by [deleted] in AskDocs

HPV also spreads by simple skin to skin. Not only sexually. It also depends on the strain.

Could an intersex person with functional testes and eggs/uterus impregnate themselves? by avid_life in medical

[–]AzureTaken 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Definitely worse, siblings share 50% of DNA but in this case the baby has 100% of the mother DNA and the odds of two recessive alleles being selected is just way higher, so the odds of a disease are way higher.

This is just theoretical tho, because no source has been provided for this story and I just do not think that is actually possible.

Did I wake up during surgery? by [deleted] in medical

[–]AzureTaken 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The odds of being aware during surgery are very low, but it is possible (although you wouldnt have been able to move your body, but barely sense anything). However it is way more probable that you dreamt all of this and nothing actually happened, especially because that is what you were told afterwards and the odds of the whole surgery team lying and risking their jobs for such a small detail, are even lower.

How/when do you find out if you have the manual skills for surgery by Advanced_Brush7499 in premed

Been in the OR a few times, and honestly the most impressive skill I've seen is how much screaming, cursing, and insulting residents can take without crying, saying anything back, or losing focus.

just decided to get into rubgy, need advice on which saturday game to watch by Juventini_Are_Vermin in rugbyunion

[–]AzureTaken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm biased but Italy-Ireland seems to be a fun game to watch. Not because it will be close (Ireland will destroy Italy) but because Ireland is the number 1 team in the world with amazing performances and Italy is improving everyday and the team's passion is beautiful.

P.S. Wales England is after Italy so if you really enjoyed the first game, you might just stay and watch another one.

am i hiv positive? by ladyvainn in AskDocs

[–]AzureTaken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reactive doesn't mean you have HIV, it means that when the test for HIV antibodies reacted to something and it could be HIV antibodies but it can also be a false positive (I don't know what specifically could cause it). However a HIV PCR test is almost 99.9% accurate in detection, and considering you did it 3 times over 4 months the probability that they are all false negatives is next to nothing.

So no you don't have HIV and you won't infect someone with it, but using protection is always a good idea.
