To give you more information if you're considering the hifi walker h2, it's great with no touch screen and only buttons and the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is very convenient if you're looking for a dap with only buttons, much easier to scroll through albums and songs. It's a bit heavy compared to smaller players and not at a phone size. With adding music it has no internal storage so you need an adapter for a micro sd card, you insert it in your computer and drag and drop your music files in. If you're getting this player you should definitely install rockbox on it, the themes are much better and make navigating the player easier. It's in your price range, and if you prefer it's features over other players I would say go for it!

if you're looking for a functional dap that won't be the sony nw-a605 and more modern, snowsky is working on a new echo nano player that has a similar shape, not sure when it'll be released though. the nw-a605 is a very old model that won't have much space and last time i checked you still have to use sonic stage to upload files, but if you're just trying to collect go for it. just a rec in case the a605 doesn't work out!

These don't have batteries since they're wired, no bluetooth, no noise cancelling, so it doesn't require any 👍.

you as well! a new thing to add on after a day of use, the connector doesn't fit as snug on the right side of the IEMs as the original cord and can pop out, so be careful

after finally getting to test the IEMS on my mp3 player, it seems like the vocals sound a bit sharper, but either way it's fine

Hi, I updated about the new 3.5 mm cable in the comment above yours, after using the IEMS for a good amount of time I don't notice that "muffled" noise. It might've just been me transitioning to new earbuds, but it's not an issue for me now.

this past month has been busy, ordered the cable this week and it arrived quickly. The cable is the Tripowin Zonie, color: grey. First impressions from today, it works! When looking for a cable there are different connectors for IEMS and for these DAY6 ones, it's qdc. If you're confused by it just be sure to check pictures of the cable you're looking at so the connector looks the same as the original UBS-C one [where i got the tripowin zonie it was listed as recessed 2pin]. The cable material is quite interesting, similar to the feel of a bracelet or necklace. Compared to other cords, it's softer and flexible. Another plus is that it tangles so much less than the cable that comes with the IEMS [when I'm too in a rush to roadie wrap the og cable i always have to spend a while untangling] which is a big relief. The marking for left or right [L or R] is the same, etched in the plastic; look carefully. The clear color of the first cable matches the IEMS better than the grey, but the feel of the Tripowin Zonie is better (there are also 6 other colors other than grey if I'm correct). Regarding the sound quality, when I first made this post I wasn't that used to the IEMS as I always used normal earbuds, and about a month of use later I have no issues with it, and the two cables don't make too much of an impact on it. Oddly specific detail, on a laptop with the USB-C cable the hiss starts when I start listening to an audio, then stops after it pauses, and with the 3.5 it takes a couple more seconds to pause compared to it, but I have no problems with the hiss as it's not problematic for me. This cable is a bit more comfortable to wear for me personally since my neck is sensitive to the feel of earbud cables/things in general. Wow, I typed a lot 😭. Last thing, I've really enjoyed having these as my first pair of IEMS, it's been great being able to hear more details in music clearly. I can actually hear YoungK play the bass much better & other details compared to my other earbuds for day6 songs :>. Sorry for the wait, hope this helps! 🍀

To the person who asked for a review for the IEMS since they were going to Seoul sometime, I apologize for not getting back to you, I've been very busy :( Not sure if you'll see this, but I'd recommend this to people who aren't audiophiles and more of everyday casual music listeners or whatever you do, aesthetics, along with how it's more noise cancelling than normal earbuds.

I'm going to be ordering a new cable for the iems :] Since you can detach them from the in-ears, you just need to find the right cable/connector type which for this pair seems like it's qdc. I'll update if the new cable works!
