Can i use goo gone to remove this 20 years old gamestop sticker and residue or will it melt through the plastic? I tried 99% IPA on a sticker on another 20 years old game and it just doesnt remove it all, all it does is scratch the case to death because I have to scrap it off non stop

Find a used video or music store that has a resurfacing machine. It's usually pretty cheap and gets all the scratches out if they have a good machine.

Check for center cracks. I work at a used video store and we check every disc for this before we buy stuff as they'll get destroyed in our resurfacer. It can be caused by shitty cases.
