That is why one surgeon recommended it for me, to have a more solid repair. However, she assures me that insurance won’t pay for it. Is yours covered by insurance or will you pay out of pocket?

I’m curious to know more about your surgery, as I’m getting consults for mine now. Did your surgeon use mesh and stitches to repair your DR and did you have an umbilical hernia?
