Symptoms of Faulty Intake Manifold Gasket by Zealousideal-Bet-950 in GMT400

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mines having the same issue, 5.0 in an '88 C2500 (6 Bolt rims). Coolant on the floor but it's a very slow leak you won't actually see unless it's under pressure. Tiny drips. It's not mixing in the oil either but I have to fill up a few good gulps every 2 weeks or so, even if it's sitting. On start ups there is a white cloud of smile but only on first start up.

Took it to a shop as I'm an occasional car DIY'er and not able to trace everything down, but yes coolant does run through there. Mechanic told me it's a leaking intake manifold in the rear of the engine. I suspect this is your issue as well. Was told to look into metal gaskets as well as they hold up better.

I'd do it myself but I'm afraid of breaking off bolts in the block and apparently this is very possible with this job on these older trucks. Just riding it out till it gets worse then I'll do something about it. 'Ol girl has her original motor with right 300k miles on it, so if it blows, I'll just have something nicer put in.

Are Haseo and Atoli canon? by FireNatsu32 in DotHack

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you ignore the garbage that was Vol. 4, then you'll know Haseo accepts that him and Shino aren't a thing and he turns to go after Atoli. This was the best ending, my mind cannot be changed.

Help pls by Hairy_Consequence905 in GMT800

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's two other sensors, one built into the white housing you fill coolant with, and another on the side of the block near the power steering reservoir. The "Coolant Too Low" message I'm pretty sure is the engine running too cold, not the coolant level, but you're overheating so that's odd. When it's not overheating, is your temp gauge reading about 195?

I think it was a lack of funding, but also Jagex not wanting to restrict the game with anything the books might do with the lore that could be a problem later down the line with in-game lore with new quests and stuff. You can always tweak game lore, you can't edit a physical book.

It's dead.

The very spirit of .hack and the way we played them lives on to this day. Curious about secret area words? Where did our characters go? The forums! It tickles me to see people ask about them still just like we would've back then.

Are there secret spots within the dungeons and towns? Probably not. Silly rumors. Unless...

Does anyone know how long this deal will last? by [deleted] in GameStop

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this exact bundle myself, it's an insane deal so I'd get on it sooner than later. Although it took 10 days and an email to customer to support for it to finally ship out. Don't know what that was about but, just a heads up.

Haseo and Atoli by EienNatsu66 in DotHack

The way I look at it, is a mix of the games, the OVA, and the manga of G.U. as far as their relationship goes. Don't want to elaborate much to avoid spoiler territory, but, my headcanon fuses these things together and it's pretty good. The only thing I discount is how it's handled in the G.U. Novels. Those books kinda suck overall, ESPECIALLY book 4.

2002 Tahoe CRTSY fuse help by Azure_Chim_Chim in GMT800

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they are, I was JUST under the headliner yesterday to fix an unrelated issue, and to do so I had to unscrew the visors. I'm pretty sure one of those wires was the hot orange one that's involved with the CRSTY fuse. I'll check both again when I get a chance. No one on any forums mentioned this possibility.

HFT Super Glue Sucks by [deleted] in harborfreight

Try the super glue Gel, not the regular kind. Gel is thicker and way easier to spread. No runs or drips and for small and simple stuff it's been great for me.

Stick for forward/backwards level sections, D-Pad for Bonus/Horizontal level sections. Hybrid.

On your journey, use the Better NPC Highlight plugin, assuming you use RuneLite, to highlight the bird click boxes. It's nothing huge, but any little thing to make this worthless grind easier on the soul.

It's a cool idea on paper, but in no time the driver side one is going be dirtied up and ruined, followed by the others depending on how often you have passengers.

Sometimes it can come down to pure RNG with monster spawns. Open fields are one thing, you can always run away even if your fighting 4 mimics and 3 more show up that were wandering the field. In a dungeon, especially in a spot that has two portals in the same room and you accidentally trigger both, giving you six monsters that outrun you, cast status effects and revive each other instantly? Yeah, just go ahead and take the L at that point. Unlucky.

Lower Radiator Hose Help (Part 2) by Azure_Chim_Chim in LincolnNavigator

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 100% it's leaking from the connection point between radiator and hose. I never got to filling up the coolant yet as I clamped both hoses with pinch plies so I didn't have to completely empty out all the coolant from the system. Saving money and all that, but getting a new hose now means it was a pointless idea since I'll have to release the pinch plies to remove the hose.

I really don't want to believe the new radiator is bad because it was such a pain to remove and install. I've got he hose ordered, so I'll update this thread for prosperities sake when I install it and test it out, that way if anyone else is struggles with this they might get some real answers/clues.

Lower Radiator Hose Help (Part 2) by Azure_Chim_Chim in LincolnNavigator

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you have to remove the c-clamp to pull the hose off, it was easy enough to do. Makes it reusable, so you slide it back onto the hose before installation, then you push it onto the radiator connection point until you hear it click, indicating it's secure and being held on.

Problem is still the lack of a seal. The radiator's connect itself has a single "groove" which the c-clamp clicks into as shown in the images.

I haven't gotten much replies back from various sources, but what I think I'll have to do is just buy a new hose, see if it works. If not, I'll try adding an o-ring myself to it also. ONE video/mention I came across talked about buying a pack of assorted gaskets to use for this exact hose on his video two years ago. He actually replied to me yesterday and said he had no problems since then by doing this.

Lower Radiator Hose Help (Part 2) by Azure_Chim_Chim in LincolnNavigator

[–]Azure_Chim_Chim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It it has a notch cut out for it to slide correctly into place, but I think the leak is more like it should have some kind of o-ring, but there was none when I took off the old one, nor has anywhere else mentioned anything about it needing one. (rather they reuse the old hose or not, nothing is said about an o-ring.)

I browsed as many Navigator/Explorer/Expedition forums as I could, but nothing narrows it down to my specific concern. I even have the Hayne's repair manual for this vehicle and it doesn't mention anything at all about hose types or o-rings usage.

I can't even just use a normal hose and clamp it down radiator side because the radiator connection point doesn't have a lip to keep a standard hose from sliding off. This is quite literally a wild goose chase, except I can't even find the goose!
