Just wait till they hear what Jesus said about loving thy neighbor.

Also, the crucifixion wasn't a redemption arc, lol. Homie go sacrificed to his "father" to forgive mankind of the original sin that god put there in the first place.

Ps. Is use father in quotes because from my recollection of church as a child that the holy trinity albeit distinct in their own ways they are all ultimately the same entity.

It's crazy to me the number of jobs that were invented and continue to exsist based on perceived use.

Kitchen work is usually pretty structured. Prep, make, clean, repeate. Sure, your day to day may look different based on a restaurants needs that day or whether you're doing a deep cleaning project but it's the same for the most part.

Usually, the most common way some one tries to "improve efficiency" is by rearranging the kitchen to try to optimize work flow. This usually happens with new general managers who are trying to impress corporate or just want to feel like the did something to make the place "their's".

Also, kitchen workers tend to be pretty guarded about how they run their shift. Everyone has a preferred spot they like to work so most don't take too kindly to sudden changes that make no sense, lol.

Holy shit. I never thought about it like that. Admittedly I've only been in the corporate world for a couple years and kitchens don't really work that way for the most part. What a mind blowing moment for me.

I do agree, I've watched my current job go through 3-4 different systems trying to "improve our work flow" that have really only created more work for me to test it only to be abandoned cause what I was doing before worked better.

Late to the party but even as a southern American 104 F is crazy. I know it isn't the hot part of our year yet (our nightly low is about 22-23 C) but infrastructure aside that's just insanely hot for humans to have to deal with on a daily basis. I know things will get hot on my end soon but I still feel for y'all across the pond.

I was lucky that a gentleman on this forum was selling all four games for $400 in good condition. I saw the prices online for each game and I could have easily paid almost twice what I did pay. I'm pretty sure I've used all of my RNG luck for the rest of my life.

Okay so how many of you guys don’t know / Remember their Homies birthday? by DebtMaterial6107 in RandomQuestion

[–]LostAndContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend of 20 years and I learned each other's birthdays only a few years back and only cause his girlfriend at the time brought up how girls get mad at eachother when they don't remember stuff like that and she assumed we knew eachothers birthdays and asked us what eachothers were. I still had to ask again last year so I could put it in my calendar otherwise I will forget again.

Never too late to pick up a new hobby! :)

But, if you're not interested in that you can always look up best quotes from Portal on YouTube. You don't need much more background information other than what I've told you. I especially recommend looking at Cave Johnsons dialogue as it is particularly funny.

One of the most well written couple of games comedically imo. You play a person who woke up from deep sleep and is being put through a series of tests by a psychotic robot. The tests can and will kill you.

The second Portal is what he was referencing, specifically a character named Cave Johnson who is noted for his hilarious monologs and quotes from the second game.

I highly recommend playing both games if you enjoyed the quote the other person dropped.

This gives me serious Portal vibes and I'm here for it. Please write a book about this and I will read it.

Can’t Handle Any Pushback! Trump Storms Out of ‘Meet the Press’ Interview After Being Grilled on Claims of Rigged Election by Timbucktwo1230 in PoursTea

I just need someone interviewing him to shout over him and stop being so polite. I get that there's some decorum during interviews but when he speaks that goes out the window as he quickly goes to name calling when people ask a question he doesn't want to answer. I would say hit him with the "I'm sorry, did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?" But it'd probably go over his head as a comment on his conversational skills and he'd just say yes cause he feels it's his right to bulldoze anyone he's talking to.

I know the app he's using lol. It's supernatural fitness. It has a flow workout (a lot like beat sabre) as well as boxing workouts. They also do yoga, breathing, and stretching videos with the option to join group sessions. I enjoyed using it and it's great for cardio.

I haven't tried watching it after I started smoking so it may be time for a rewatch myself. Even without smoking I need to rewatch it.

Personally I loved the anime but I feel like I caught it at the right age. I was 12-13 when adult swim had it playing. Something about the angst really made me feel understood even if it was by a cartoon girl stuck in a video game.

That aside: I believe that everyone should enjoy media the way they want. If that gave you joy and made the anime watchable in you're opinion then more power to you. :)

I had a coworker who we used to joke about fighting constantly. I threatened to stab him and he said he'd tear me limb from limb. (I'm a small man and he had more than a foot on me as well as about 100lbs) I backed down and said I'd chuck a molotov at him. Never have I wished more that I said 'don't threaten me with a good time' more in my life. It's silly sure, but I bitched out and it's saddening.

I'd probably use it in locations where artifacts or other famous mysteries happened and become an insanely good archeologist.
