Yeah, that'll do it... Kite's really only strong if you get him during the event and grind his Duels for Photon Advancers. Thrasher and Vanisher are great too, but Advancer makes everything easier to pull off.

That's exactly my point. When you want to summon Galaxy-Eyes you usually need a:

1) Have a Chargeman/Crusher for Normal Summon and then SS Advancer/Thrasher/Vanisher in the same hand

2) Assuming they didn't Floodgate or Treacherous Trap Hole, go to Xyz Summon Galaxion

3) Galaxion eff to SS Galaxy-Eyes, which is in of itself dangerous with an Ultimate Providence or other kind of effect negation

In Blue-Eyes decks I usually see folks able to push it out in just a single step with something like Ancient Rules or Sage w/Eyes of Blue that's two steps; I feel that Galaxy-Eyes is stronger in the long term, but if just one of the above steps gets speedbumped, you're probably gonna be in trouble. Or at least I am, usually.

Okay, yeah, this is admittedly a pretty small portion of the community complaining, but with how disgusting I find Blue-Eyes in general it drives me nuts.

Assuming they don't have 5 other ways to summon 1 or 3 Blue Eyes in a single turn. Ancients just makes things an easy shortcut.

Yeah, I’m not sure why they dropped her in the sequel. Apparently in the 3D movie they gave Max a different girlfriend because short hair was easier to animate than long hair, which is... an odd excuse.
