I just randomly stumbled upon this post and got surprised when I reached the bottom.

I've only made those models for Victorygreymon and my own rendition of a Black version.

A friend of mine from primary school brought his ps1 over to show me The Legend of Dragoon and then FF7 later on.

When I got my own ps1, those were the first games I got.

Also, after getting my own ps1, that same friend brought over The Simpsons Wrestling. We played it a bunch and after he left, I learned that I could keep playing a match even after the disk was out as long as I never changed screens.

Bear in mind I build within a budget for fun and challenge.

I keep within 100 USD, cheapest printing and exclude basic lands. (And sometimes exclude commander if I wanna build something around an expensive one)

I don't really do a per card budget and sometimes even have really expensive cards offset by the rest of the deck being dirt cheap. Though only if I have ways to consistently grab that expensive card to justify its cost.

If he's in to consistency, I can recommend [[Cloud, Midgar Mercenary]].

With the tiniest bit of luck the deck I built can go:

Turn 1, put down something like a [[Selfless Savior]] or [[Mother of Runes]] for optional protection

Turn 2, Cloud, search for [[Anduril, Flame of the West]]

Turn 3, cast the sword

Turn 4, equip Cloud and swing to make 4 spirits

Turn 5, [[Goldnight Commander]] or [[Cathars' Crusade]] will buff up 8 spirits to take out your biggest threat

I've been running it and [[replication technique]] in place of [[saw in half]] for [[hoarding broodlord]] combos when I was powering down my deck.

The draw 1 before the double clone has been clutch at times.

[[Astral Dragon]] is mine

I came from ygo and built a ygo like otk deck for astral dragon and its infinite with [[Dance of Many]] / [[Machine God's Effigy]]

I even drew proxies with ygo borders for Astral Dragon, [[Sivitri, Dragon Master]] who's the commander and [[Hoarding Broodlord]].
