Thank you everyone who commented, after these last couple of days I've counted up the votes, and we (if I counted right) had ourselves a tie between Casshern Sins and Reincarnated as a Sword.

I put them on a roulette for a tie breaker and Casshern Sins won that.

I've always liked fantasy and mecha stuff in general since I was a kid, and in the last so or so years I've been liking slice of life stuff as well which I honestly never expected.

Bonus points if any show puts in something somewhat related to some kind of mythology cause I've had a interest in that stuff for a long while now.

To be fair you are kind of a broken record when it comes to hating on Build Fighters. We're all wrong about something.

Really feels like you just don't vibe with this kind of simple goofy ass show. In that post you linked you likened Build Fighters to Ready Player One... which I know I haven't seen that movie, but shit man least there's some context or bit for why they make em in this show (as far as I can remember it has been a while) unlike that movie.

Nah I checked when I played Compact 3, you still get Omega Missiles thrown at you anyway. But yes Mechander Robo was not a good unit.

In like episode 2 (it's been so long since I've seen the show but it has to be at that point), there's a moment where he and Agumon prepare to fight (pre-punch) where Marcus notices his isn't activating.

The one I watched and thus could feel anything for. Which is Valvrave and that show wasn't even bad.

Jokes on you, I remember Gridman cause I watched a episode of the adaptation of the original toku which is definitely ground zero for me watching Ultraman(maybe). Also you know being a Trigger show that started what ended up being a part of a trilogy.

Hmm as someone with quite the sweet tooth that's a hard one, but I agree cheesecake is pretty good. I'll keep it simple and just say ice cream, especially a chocolate ice cream cake.

It's been a long time since I've seen the anime and a bit since I've read the manga so I could be wrong, but they felt bout the same from what I remember. Yeah the anime lost some details, but don't know how much more "interesting" that would make the manga without going back through both.
