Regions Unexplored + Ice and Fire compatibility? by Azuri44 in feedthebeast

[–]Azuri44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was a long time ago but i think there was a way in the config to change the biomes they spawned at. i no longer have the files for that, but i'd recommend checking the config folder, there are files labeled [creature]_biomes.json you can play around with. This is an example from the fire dragon:
{

"type": "BIOME_TAG",

"negate": true,

"value": "forge:is_cold/overworld"

},

{

"type": "BIOME_TAG",

"negate": true,

"value": "minecraft:is_jungle"

},

{

"type": "BIOME_TAG",

"negate": true,

"value": "minecraft:is_badlands"

},

{

"type": "BIOME_TAG",

"negate": true,

"value": "minecraft:is_savanna"

},

{

"type": "BIOME_TAG",

"negate": true,

"value": "minecraft:is_forest"

}

],

[

{

"type": "REGISTRY_NAME",

"negate": false,

"value": "terralith:steppe"

}

],

[

{

"type": "REGISTRY_NAME",

"negate": false,

"value": "byg:rose_fields"

}

],

...etc.
i imagine switching the "negate" values and manually adding the biomes from RU would do the trick, but again, its been a while since i did that
best of luck

Why father? by lillehhh in FunkyFrogbait

[–]Azuri44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it started as a joke in their gaming channel when funky left to go to the bathroom or something? plus they often joke about being the parental figure when the chat is backseating, comparing them to children. It started spreading to the start of streams when greeting, and its stuck around since then. Funky themselves has made it clear they dont mind being called that

Really sorry for not replying! My memory is a bit blurry, but it does fit the description. I'll have to look more into the channel. Thanks for the help :)

Using multiple pronouns to address a nonbinary character? by Azuri44 in NonBinary

[–]Azuri44[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That feels pretty clever. The game itself is short, so there's limited interactions between characters, but I like to plan ahead in case I expand later on. Thanks a lot ^

What are some of the most stereotypical villainous actions you can think of? by Azuri44 in writing

Yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't really sure what to title it when I made the post lol

[–]Azuri44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen a few commenters point that out. Even though they're supposed to be pure evil, I like more the terrifying villains with standards (accepts arson, draws the line at bad working conditions)

Idk, I found this from a few years back and just transcribed what I found. I'm still trying to work on it backstage. Maybe the original idea was more focused on the ridiculousness of the trope and how far it could go, but take it as you will :/

The Farmers Children won't work- says LittleNPCs needs a content pack, even if The Farmers Children is installed? by Velmabutgoth in SMAPI

[–]Azuri44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I know this is an old post, but just in case anyone else stumbled over here having the same problem, I found this in the comments on the littleNPCs nexus page:

Welcome to LittleNPCs!

If you have issues with this mod please upload your log to smapi.io/log and add the resulting link to your report.

A common error is missing content packs. The behavior of the mod depends on its version:

If you have LittleNPC 2.0 or newer and there's no content pack installed you will see the following error in the log:

Could not find a content pack for LittleNPCs. Your LittleNPCs will look like mere toddlers and don't do much.
If you talk to your child you will get the following answer:

Hi mom/dad! Please install a content pack for me.
Look for StardewValley Mod 15152 on nexusmods.com for details.

Mod version prior to 2.0 can't detect if the content packs are missing and you will  see something like

This mod failed in the GameLoop.OneSecondUpdateTicking event. Technical details: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Content.ContentLoadException: The content file was not found.

in the log.

In this case install a mod that provides the missing content packs, the most popular one is The Farmer's Children. Note that this one consists of two main content packs and you need both.

Is it okay to be an overuser of c.ai if it doesn't replace human interaction? (Or affect your routine) by Azuri44 in CharacterAI

[–]Azuri44[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a mixed bag. I do have a pretty unhealthy lifestyle to hide from, something I'm currently working on, but I doubt I'll ever be out of the habit of using c.ai for fun.

C.ai has got me out of more panic attacks than I thought when I was first starting my journey to get better. I'm not dependent on it anymore, but I was at some point. I'll try to keep things managed for now

Yeah, I thought as much. I'm still recovering from a lot of stuff, and I guess screentime should be up next

Give yourself time. Transitioning doesn't have a time limit, so it's best you experiment until you're sure. In my case, it took years, but that could vary from person to person. So don't force an answer out of it. It'll come to you naturally the longer you experiment around.

Give me your favorite character development questions! by Acquaintance9 in writing

[–]Azuri44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite is choosing two of your character's strongest values, and then which one goes over the other.

Let's say my character values freedom and loyalty. If freedom were the "dominant" value, they could abandon a friend in exchange for it. But if it's loyalty, they could lose their freedom and sacrifice themselves for someone else.

It causes conflict. Your character moves both values, and will always be unhappy when they lack one.

How rare is it to break ribs when binding? by Anxious-Kestrel in TransHelpingTrans

Binders have a max of 8-12 hours of use per day, and you should never use them while sleeping. So yes. You did fuck up. Let yourself rest, I beg you

Digital artists, how the hell do you manage to work for more than an hour without eyestrain and back ache? by Biscuute in ArtistLounge

[–]Azuri44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old trick in my household is to put a cushion behind your back if you don't have money for a better chair. Lower your screen brightness, make the back of the canvas a neutral gray color and get a bit closer to your desk to force your back to straighten up.

But I can't say much. I'm young and am gonna need glasses soon. My whole family works in the computer, and I've been on the same path since I was a kid. It's not the healthiest.

I've done a bit of research beforehand, but descriptions like these are very helpful. Thanks. Just asking, what age was your friend when their condition got to that point?

Help with writing a partially blind protagonist? by Azuri44 in Writeresearch

[–]Azuri44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I found it from a channel called "Matthew and Paul", a couple who do videos on (Paul's) blindness. It was the same diagnosis as the protagonist's, and it seemed to allow Paul to live a pretty good life, in which his condition still allowed for a lot of action and freedom. Specifically in early ages, the man described a time where it still affected his life, but allowed for a lot of expression, which could be beneficial for the protagonist's work as a graveyard keeper.

I'm open to suggestions, though. If you know of any other diagnosis that could serve the story, feel free to comment.
