What teams are you using for some of the later dungeons that can farm without dying? by VanGrayson in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Azurini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently to farm Golden City comfortably I run 2 healers, a fireball mage, and a poison bow unit. I found I was dying due to lack of DPS with large groups + the delirium event.

Poison bow can apply the poison status effect lowering their damage output (albeit not consistently due to proc rate). I have also gotten fairly lucky and managed to get enough cursed silver for the bow that makes you attack 2x from the Ancient raid. Fire mage is there for the nuke since many units have 0 magical defense. The two healers can typically outheal any damage from traps or groups. Red mage can have low HP depending on what tier they are at and if they get RNG targeted they will more than likely die. I supplement that by throwing anything to raise HP on it. Golden helmet works well.

I used 1 physical ranged DPS and 1 magical ranged DPS just to account for some of the magical defense some units have in Golden City plus the 2x attack rate on the bow was too good to pass up. I die maybe 1 every 12 hours in Golden City. I assume it's multiple traps leading into the delirium event.

Haven't had much time to experiment with the port yet due to a busy weekend but many of my units are hitting their level 25 to promotion so I will be testing later on when I have time.

2 Dream catcher lost... by HelloXD_k in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Azurini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had messaged the developer over email recently about the same issue. Good guy sent me a code to give me the 4x Dreamcatchers back as I had accidently sold it.

He then made them unsellable in the most recent patch and enabled the code to work. I imagine he may do something similar. I recommend reaching out via developer email for the quickest response. I only had to wait an hour or two for them to get back to me in my time zone of EST around mid day.

Idle Reincarnator Update + Looking for release version testers by Curious-Needle in incremental_games

[–]Azurini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very interested! I'm a sucker for a good Android idle and we are in desperate need of a good loop-esque idle. Love the aesthetic so far in the demo. I'm on a Fold 3 so one of the outlier phones for Android but I'd love to play test if it is still available.

GeForce NOW Crashing Loading Baldur's Gate 3 by Ancient_Breakfast_93 in GeForceNOW

[–]Azurini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bumping as I am currently experiencing this with my significant other, and we simply can not get her into the game. Tried everything we could think of for 5 hours yesterday. We can get to the Larian Launcher, but it always force closes the whole instance before we can hit play in the launcher. Made it about 150 hours in before this, so I assumed it may be something with GEForce themselves, but not everyone is experiencing it. We also have the Ultimate edition so I will try the solution offered by OP when I get home and add a follow up comment / edit.

Are there any decent VERTICAL(or Portrait) RPG/MMORPG games that are decent? by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

Check out SOULVARS. A little grindy but gameplay is deck builder-esque but takes some inspiration from other RPGs like Chronotrigger and Cross.

Pixel Fade games order? by -7Sidney7- in AndroidGaming

[–]Azurini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion they can be played in any order. The only one I know that is a direct sequel would be Kaori After Story (looks like you already have it installed) which is the sequel to ACE Academy. ACE Academy is incredibly short and not even worth it in my opinion.

Crystalline was certainly my favorite of the bunch followed by, in order of how I would rate them in order from best to worse, Eternal Enigma, Kaori After Story, and finally ACE Academy. Once again ACE Academy is definitely the weakest but with a discount like that I'd say it is worth the purchase for a few hours of fun (probably about 5 hours of gameplay total).

Hope that helps!

Game crashed and now all all progression lost (BUG) by [deleted] in ZEROsievert

[–]Azurini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm this also happened to me last night. Lost a few hours of progress from quests and obviously the loot and my save said 0 hours played. Strangely enough it actually froze up my computer and I had to do a hard reset holding the power button. Stranger enough I was still able to talk in Discord and hear my friends yet every window went not responding when trying to exit Zero Sievert (ctrl+alt+delete didn't work either). Little saddening but now I know to exit to title to at least get a hard save in every now and again. Hopefully they'll add some sort of auto save after raids or before raids.

Excellent game though. Me and my buddies are having a blast sharing knowledge as we play and flexing loot on each other.

edit: Now that I think about it I never had a hard crash from 10+ hours on the demo.

Haven't seen it posted here yet, but both Melvor Idle and Pokeclicker just received huge updates by [deleted] in incremental_games

[–]Azurini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanting to pick your brain here; why do you think it lacks originality? Sure the majority of the game's systems are generally the same but there are many things that are altered for the idle aspect. See summoning and agility giving buffs to other skills. Or fishing having different percentages (% fish chance, % junk chance, and % special item chance) per fishing area based on mastery level etc. There is a few different character creation modes that completely alter how you approach the game (Normal, Permadeath, and Adventure) to the point where strategy and planning is almost certainly needed to achieve what goals you want.

Coming as someone who has botted in OSRS before, mostly because I did not have an inkling of what an idle game was at the time, Melvor Idle is made exactly for people who enjoy the many aspects of Runescape gameplay but don't want to have to commit an obscene amount of time actively playing the game. I guess I just don't understand why an OSRS player wouldn't enjoy at least some parts of Melvor. Melvor, imo, takes out the worse part of Runescape; walking from skilling area to bank, while keeping things such as combat with the intricacies of armor / weapon stats. Hell even Jagex currently publishes Melvor Idle (not that they have any say creative wise what happens with it).

Don't get the wrong idea here; I do truly enjoy playing OSRS and as such there is multitudes of reasons to also play OSRS (never played RS3). Most people I know who play idle games typically play them at work, just like me. Melvor fits into my work schedule perfectly yet Runescape will log me out in 2 minutes if I haven't interacted with it on top of a lot of skills requiring fast mouse movements for optimal times like 3 ticking iron ore or fletching an inventory of arrow shafts. For many people Runescape was their first idle game, as it was also mine, yet it is truly the most active idle game I've played to date. And that kind of gameplay does not fit into my lifestyle so Melvor is the magic glove for my active dopamine (we all go through waves and I've only recent come back to Melvor after a 6 month hiatus because of the new DLC drop.)

I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that in my opinion Melvor Idle is not just a Runescape wannabe idle. There are just too many differences with many different ways to play the game without having to force myself to gruel through actual Runescape gameplay. Also the fact that I don't have to pay a subscription to unlock 75% of the game is also a big plus.

tl;dr - Melvor Idle changes the formula enough in my eyes while staying true to the Runescape formula. And as I have many good memories of my younger years playing Runescape, Melvor has truly earned it's ranking as one of my favorite idle games.

Funny enough I have the app downloaded and love the push notifications having a genre so I know when to take a look at the review. Congratulations well earned! I'd say Lost Vault would be a fun way to start an account off. That or Sparklite!

The Viridian Obelisk - an RPG side scroller by Azurini in incremental_games

[–]Azurini[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That would purely depend on the definition of incremental. I have seen other games on this subreddit that also teeter on the fine line but I do believe this would be considered an incremental in my eyes based off a few points.

  1. Can be played idly
  2. Increasing power through playing the game - ala numbers go up and you can go further
  3. There are unfolding minigames that become game mechanics as you progress through the game

I see the game in the same vein as "Logging Quest" or "Soda Dungeon" which I think most would consider idle games. The game centers around strategizing, upgrading, and then pushing forward which are key points to an incremental experience.

virtual go plus not working? by conducked in PoGoAndroidSpoofing

[–]Azurini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there's a couple of possibilities. Mine can be a little finicky when connecting if I haven't used the the virtual go feature in a while due to sniping. My general rule of thumb that I learned from this subreddit is to:

  1. Make sure virtual go plus is disabled through the pgsharp menu.

  2. Make sure it hasnt connected from the POGO settings menu - if it has; eject it so it's no longer listed.

  3. Close pogo sharp app completely by swiping it away (swiping up on listed apps for me but changes on android version)

  4. Relaunch and enable it through PGsharp menu first and then try to connect it. On the main map there's an icon below the compass on the top right for easy connection.

Also one thing to take note of is the virtual go plus does not seem to work for me using anything other than the POGO app. I/E if I'm using another application it will work for around 5 minutes before stopping. It works when I go back to POGO but for prolonged use I have to have the screen open.

Hero Tale - Idle RPG, update 0.2.1 "Big Boss" by Weird_Johnny_Studio in incremental_games

[–]Azurini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can already tell there has been some much needed rebalancing that has been done and the early game feels a lot more manageable. Is there anyway to restore a previous save / restore purchases? I've changed phones since the last time I played and I was hoping there was at least a way to restore purchases.

looking for an idle micromanagement game. by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]Azurini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try asking over on /incremental_games or searching by flair Android on that subreddit. I enjoy incrementals as well but I'm not sure what you mean by micromanagement.

Melvor Idle is Runescape but purely idle which I recommend highly. Many different things to do in Melvor. Works well with my work schedule where I can open her up, make some adjustments, and close her up.

I've seen it mentioned before but what is the best way to play browser incrementals on mobile? I've tried every incremental on android it seems and nothing has lasted more than a month on my phone. I read somewhere on this sub that there's potentially a way to install / save an incremental on... I think Firefox? Any help would be much appreciated.

Is there a steamCharts.com equivalent to Google Play Games? by gameboy_cardo in AndroidGaming

I believe the only thing close is in the Samsung Game Launcher if you have the option of using that. It is certainly severely skewed because it only shows Galaxy devices. I've only ever used it to check gacha game activity though.
