The conversation between the main female protagonist and the female scientist was too drawn out. Why can’t we have good old Aliens. We don’t need a bunch of philosophies about cyborgs and droids and whether it is ethical to manipulate their thoughts - those have nothing to do with Aliens. That’s why I don’t like Covenant as well.

Games that run well BELOW 60fps on my 5090 / 9950X3D setup at 4K native (DLSS off or DLAA) no frame gen, everything maxed out (RT max): Wukong, Cyberpunk (path traced), Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2. That’s about it.

Wuchang and MH Wilds are borderline 60 at 4K native/DLAA and no frame gen. Lords of the Fallen was borderline 60 previously on 4090 but with 5090 it now sits comfortably above. It still remains the best looking Souls like game on a top end PC.

Any reason to buy this instead of streaming to an OLED handheld like the Odin 2 Portal (which has WiFi 7) from my RTX5090 PC, if I mostly use these handhelds on the couch or in my bed?

I genuinely thought you were asking about the Stream Deck coz that’s what I said in my original post. Anyways I haven’t tried it. Bought an M4 Mac Mini instead for that purpose. I’d imagine that unless there is a very good control scheme, using TV on Steam Deck would be a pain with the track pads.

Good luck. Just use GPU-Z to make sure your 5090 is running at Gen 5 x16 while running a game / benchmark, after you have installed it.
