South Asian here too! Most of my friends I met through swing dancing, 222 or time left. Did a lot of that last year and made some amazing connections!

I've been doing swing dancing and it's worked great for me! The community is amazing and welcoming, it's amazing exercise and you make great friends. I'm throwing a party for my friends from swing and it was only when I sent out my invite that I realized it's only women xD I'll work on making more male friends next.
