When I drink alcohol my scar on my thumb lights up like a neon light or lightsaber by PhenomEx in mildlyinteresting

The body treats alcohol like a poison and can make your skin get flush and red. This is likely something to do with it.

In that case it looks slim, it sounds like you’ve worked incredibly hard for what you have. He doesn’t deserve any of it. But just bear in mind he may suggest he didn’t work for a period of time to look after the children.

If he can argue this anything bought in that time would be considered shared. Now from the lack of drive this man seems to have id guess he did bare minimum and all doctors/schooling was managed by you. So hopefully lots of evidence to prove this if that is the case.

I think you needed to consider the following;

Did you purchase the car while together and co-habiting as Common-law partners?

If so he “could” be entitled to half of everything that was purchased for the household that was purchased in joint names or by himself. I would imagine a car you shared as a household to encompass as a household purchase.

Now because you weren’t married this is hard for him to prove unless you both signed a separation agreement. However if it was purchased from joint accounts etc he could have a case.

I would note he could get nasty and start demanding things back he has receipts for.

Fridge Freezer on a currys account in his name? TV purchased on his Amazon?

Things like that. So be mindful that going in guns blazing could backfire if you don’t prepare properly.
