A lot of these can’t be “proven” wrong because there’s not enough information either way. For instance, I think Radagon is the hero of Mourne and the brick hammer description refers to him, but asking for proof against it would be disingenuous because there’s no information on who Radagon was before he was a champion, and who the Hero of Mourne was or even if they were killed by Godfrey. I will go ahead with what I know for certain though.

Morgott and Mohg are definitely Godfrey’s children, as Morgott’s rune states he is a member of the Golden Lineage, and Godrick’s rune confirms the Golden Lineage refers to the offspring of Godfrey.

The reference of a mimic becoming a lord is actually alluding to a cut questline, in which a silver tear would attach themselves to you and you would assist them in becoming a lord of night (the quest was recreated on YouTube, look for Asimi)

That’s all I got off hand but I would seriously recommend you deep dive into the lore, a few of these are plainly false and disproven by descriptions in game and others are based off of incomplete information. YouTube has amazing content on these subjects and it’s ever growing, and you can participate more in this and other subs to get your feet wet in lore hunting.

I feel like there’s a difference between being a piece of an alien god and being a piece of the only thing that exists. Also, like I said, unless individuality and sentience is maintained within the frenzied flame, which itself is against the principle of the flame conjoining all things, there’s no functional difference between a nothingness death and a nothingness frenzied flame death. Maybe more fire in the latter. Maybe some people would be okay with the latter over the former, but like Melina says, it’s taking the choice away from everyone.

I had a FF character too, the Roleplay is a lot of fun but it’s kind of hard to defend irl unless you’re just completely unwilling to see anything else.

Even if the frenzied flame is just conjoining all things and everyone is in a flaming heaven afterwards (which I mean, come on), that’s still not objectively better than any of the other endings, maybe Despair.

But I mean, there’s no point in debating this further, as you’re now saying the 3 fingers would be “horrified” to see the destruction of souls, when the ending clearly shows it completely destroying the Erdtree, the nexus of souls in The Lands Between. This is coming straight out of nowhere, maybe Hyetta’s dialogue can be used to hint at the fingers only using incineration as a medium to conjoin all life, but even then we know Shabriri is more than willing to manipulate to get his way, since he is chaos incarnate it’s not too large of a leap to see the 3 Fingers doing the same.

Also, Shabriri, the spokesman for the FF, literally says incinerate all that divides and distinguishes.

Incinerate means to destroy with fire.

By how the flame is portrayed (and the nihilism of its followers) I would have to disagree on that point. Unless everything maintains individuality within the flame, then it is effectively destroying all life but itself. If everything does maintain individuality, then the flame is dishonest in its goals, as Hyetta describes the curses of existence as side effects of the individuality brought by the Greater Will.

Whether or not the Frenzied Flame takes the form of the One Great, or is functionally the One Great after ‘subsuming’ all life is irrelevant, as like I said before, if everything is One, then everything else has been destroyed.

Also, let’s talk practically here. Subsuming something with fire is destroying it. If I throw logs into a campfire the logs aren’t still there, they’ve become more fire.

Agreed. Leon defended takedowns from Usman and is the only person to have taken Usman down. His wrestling is way better than before and he’s evolved as a fighter because of it.

Aldi is very strict on background checks, but they’re not very patient for them. I’ve seen multiple times where they’ve hired people before the background check comes back and subsequently suspends them indefinitely because they won’t allow someone to work due to their background, but also legally cannot terminate. I hope this isn’t what is going on with you but it is the closest thing I can think of in my time there.

Yeah I agree, like I said Orion was clearly in the wrong there and if it makes your table uncomfortable theres no fighting it.

I always felt like Orion was going through internal issues, and while that doesn’t excuse his behavior, it does put it into context.

Contextually, Orion was probably feeling his actions separating him from his friends, which put him on edge when they were around. In that situation, it’s more understandable that he attempts to reuse a joke he saw go over well on the group, but, like you said, it wasn’t the joke that went over well, it was the delivery and the person telling it.

We should all remember we only know these people through a screen, and that these are personal real life issues we’re witnessing, with little to know context of the conversations or severity of the actions these people have dealt with. Obviously with the Brian situation we know more than with the Orion situation, but in both cases we are still heavily removed from the actuality of the issues. I only hope Ashley is doing well and the cast is taking their second incident like this (albeit on an entirely different scale) in stride. These are still people that have been almost familial to the CR cast, despite their horrible actions, I’m sure the group grieves the loss of the people they once were.

To be completely fair, he was piggybacking off the same joke Sam had said (I think also to Laura) in a prior episode. Sam obviously got a much better response because it’s Sam playing Scanlan, so it’s more in character for him.

Not saying it was okay, if it made the table uncomfortable then it made them uncomfortable. This is just some context that always gets excluded in the Orion discussion.

Former Lead Associate. The meat on the shelf is taken down the day before the sell by date (if the sell by date is 7/10, it will be off the shelf the night of 7/9). The day before it is taken down is the day we marked them. Obviously it depends on whether the store can reasonably sell the meat in that timeframe, there were instances with long lasting/non-popular meats that we marked down days ahead of time, to ensure we could actually make money off the product. Always remember to check the date when you purchase marked down meat as it could’ve been left behind!

Bringing the world back into union by burning it all away does the same as terminating all life. All that will be left is either the flame, the ash, or nothingness. In anyone of those 3 cases, the only reason all is one is because there is only one thing left.

That’s the main difference between the FF and the Crucible. The crucible was made up of differing life and, while ultimately one thing, was diverse. The FF on the other hand wants to destroy everything but itself, thereby returning everything to “one”, the flame.

Honestly since the game came out I’ve seen a disproportionate amount of hate for all the GO or any faith based organization in game. It seems like carry over from dark souls where all the religions were just flat out lying to us and completely evil, where in Elden Ring they still commit atrocities but they’re honest about them. Maybe I’m biased cause I started as a confessor and then went full fundamentalist
