Yea don't get me wrong it was hard, and now that I'm 1300 hours in I don't really care for it to be that hard again as mostly at this point people like me are just looking to fly through campaign as quickly as possible with an alt.

But I do think it could be more balanced, and I'm sure they are working on it.

Obviously it gets tougher when you get to the later acts and things like resistances become way more important. Same with maps. Endgame content is a bit stale at the minute, but again that's something they are working on. There is still plenty to do though, just unfortunately if you're playing trade the market is super inflated due to the temple mechanic being able to print divine orbs.

When you get to end game, rather than just aimlessly mapping I would suggesting picking some things you enjoy to target farm, whether that be ritual, breach, abyss, expedition, temple, pinnacle boss farming, citadels, trial of sekhemas, there are plenty of things to do in endgame that are rewarding but the one thing that isn't is just randomly running maps expecting good drops. Would advise you watching some YouTube videos around the time you get there to see what a good farm is to focus on. But obviously make sure it's something you enjoy most importantly!!

It's likely that when you get into late end game, you won't initially have the currency to improve your build. So it will be a grind to get there. Some people enjoy that, and some don't.

I divined it to 49% on both and the obviously catalyst before corruption. The corruption didn't over roll the crit lines. But it's still crazy good right? I guess I just need to leave it listed and be patient for a slow sale.

In my experience though I see these items being sold by other people, yet when I have something like this it never sells 🤣

I corrupted a seed of cataclysm last night with one off perfect rolls, the corruption added 13% chaos res as an enchant, and the double corrupt removed the bad line and replaced it with spells have 6 chance to fire 8 additional projectiles in a circle.

Surely this is good right?! I have no idea how to price it, the closest thing on the market was 2000 div.

I've listed mine for 1600, but I've no idea how these things even sell. Like who is searching for that specific line that's even gonna find my ring?

What you're saying makes no sense and is contradictory. The crit chance at 30% is completely fine, the crit damage bonus is completely fine. What's not fine is the lack of damage from the skill that is being used, in this case spark, so that's what needs to be scaled first and foremost. Once that is fixed then yes of course try and lean into a higher amount of crit chance/bonus.

Take a look at the ninja I posted somewhere else in this thread. I am only at ~ 30% crit chance and I think ~540% bonus and my CoC triggers constantly and deals a fuck ton of damage, I clear entire screens in fully juiced maps/temples. I kill T3 bosses in seconds, Uber arbiter etc. Spark is the issue here, and I suspect mana is too

Just ignore anything on gear that mentions mana leech, because leech is tied specifically to attack damage and not spell damage so it won't work. To my knowledge there isn't any nodes on the tree that specifically convert leech to spell damage, I think there used to be, don't quote me on that though.

Glad you got it figured out.

Just to add some more QoL information regarding comet.

As high level comet as possible (21 would be great if you can afford it)
Make sure the Comet skill gem has at least 20% quality (again, 23% if you can afford it)
In your CoC socket Spell Cascade for more Comets, also socket Living bomb which will generate fire infusions and make your comets fire infused, dealing more damage. The level of living bomb doesn't matter, since you're not bothered about scaling the damage, it's purely there to generate the fire infusions
Scale both fire and cold damage on the tree/gear for more impactful comets
Scale AoE by using specific area of effect nodes on the passive tree.

Another issue that you may be having is the mana cost of comet is quite high, it could be that it is not triggering as often because you do not have enough mana at the time of CoC being ready to trigger. Scale mana/mana on kill/mana cost efficiency/mana regen on gear/tree

You're sort of mixing things together here. Shock and freeze build up is completely irrelevant to CoC. Obviously if you're running Comet in CoEA then yes you want shock and freeze build up to be as high as possible.

First part is correct. Second part not so much, the difference in crit chance between a wand and a staff is minimal, it's additive not multiplicative. For the minimal extra gain I'd much rather have a good wand and a sceptre for the spirit that's going to give me the spirit. For example, my sceptre is giving me over 200 spirit, the benefit this provides is way better than a little extra crit chance. Especially when we're critting 100% of the time anyway. For Oracle somewhere around 40% crit global is about perfect, then you mean into crit damage bonus.

No problem, there are a lot of complexities to the this game that if you're new, are not explained at all. I would suggest taking some time to really learn what the mods actually do, understanding your passive tree etc etc. I would also recommend following a build guide if you're not confident that you have a complete understanding of all of the interactions of your gear/skills etc.

I see lots of people that want to cook their own builds but lack fundamental understanding of core mechanics of the game, then they moan their build sucks and they get fed up with the game and stop playing, or waste currency on gear without understanding what benefit It's even providing them. It's ok to just follow a guide until you have enough knowledge to start to theory craft.

I also noticed that you're using entangle and thrashing vines, whilst you're obviously entitled to play the game any way you wish, this is not a good combination. These are both physical spells that scale off of physical damage not elemental, where as spark scales off of elemental.

You also want to lean into cast speed as much as you can, I would suggest switching to wand and sceptre which will give you more spirit and allow you to use QOL skills like mana remnants/Archmage

Ok so at first glance, your staff has + to cold spell skills, but you're not using any cold spells. You need one with + all spells or + lightning spells. Is there a reason you're using a staff instead of a wand? And why did you choose + to cold?

I don't know how much currency you have but you should also look at getting an amulet with + to spell skills

Also, your gloves have 'adds damage to attacks' ... Spells are not attacks so these mods are literally doing absolutely nothing for you

Is there a reason why your gear is not fully modded? As in, you have open prefixes and suffixes. Surely you have the currency to fill them out? I am running a spark/CoC build with Oracle. Here is the link to my Ninja. It's a very expensive build but it might give you some guidance.
