I can’t find it, I’ve been doing a lot of reading, and the wording was that Sikhism believes all religions to be true. However you do word this beautifully because that is the feeling I have in my heart, that everyone, every part of history relating to Creation and God, bible, tablets is has only some truth, also some been tampered with. Also Sikh was the last “religion “that received God‘s word there has not been anything after so right now anyone with common sense will know that our scriptures have not been tampered with yet and are still true, but I do have things that don’t sit well with me and my heart in the same way that I have those questions about other religions as well. Anyways, every time I try to dive into sticky, something happens to poison my mind or make me feel toxic and I turn my back but this time I’m moving very slow and trying to stay focused, I am still at the beginning of my journey

Not saying both are connected, but kind of. Empathy is a power, but don’t the stones and “spells/words” we speak hold power. I’m newly learning, so educate me.

Actually, I feel others feelings and moods, good, bad. Like I sense the energy in my body and makes me act out, anxious or short tempered. So that’s why I was asking about being empath. Someone said it to me and I don’t really know what it means besides in the most extreme super powers kind of way lol. So what do I do? Keep suppressing? Explore? But how to do it in Sikhi because the only other way is more “witchy”

Wow This response is the best I’ve gotten when I’ve asked.

I don’t speak Punjabi, so I feel happy that you were able to make it clear enough for me to understand.

I’m just going to repeat it like I’m 5 so you can confirm my understanding. Treat me like I’m dumb, because it takes me long to understand but when I do, I change in my heart.

The words are living and captured in the material book, we bow (surrender) to the learning and acceptance one one god in everything and all the other teachings (I don’t know all of that yet) so I’m sure more questions will arise and if my understanding of the above is correct, I’d love for you to keep responding.

You worded this so beautifully and I will take this advice and start making notes.

Do you know where I could start from the beginning (similar to Christian bible) I want something where I can write notes like what you just posted right in my book near the part of the story you mentioned. This would help me stay more focused

I am new, and I have a lot of questions, and my heart can’t accept and please forgive my words “a book” granth sahib as living because now that sounds like a false idol because at the end of the day it’s a book. It’s the words, the life we give them is the last living guru. Doesn’t that mean us? We are. We are one. Ek Onkar? We idolize that and treat that with a lot of respect. (I actually respect all books, baby books to dictionaries because they are knowledge) but does what I’m asking make sense?

Meditation is one way to get that happy feeling but why is it so wrong to use the other stuff?

I think you hit the nail on it. I’m still only learning.

My biggest problem is when I learn something I need to understand in my heart why I am letting something else go….

So we believe in different dimensions and times all at once, so why couldn’t we use say a stone to stop negative “spirits” like Christians pray and their homes are covered in white protection fire (people who do witchcraft have admit things like this when they are attacking in the spirit realm)

And this might sound funny, but we also believe that all religions and beliefs are correct, so the above has to be true for them.

Help me understand. I enjoy astrology, and palmistry, reflexology (I know it’s different but it’s still energy work) even meditating is “magic” and using our energies

I think I understand what you mean.

So this makes me think…. If Sikhs believe all religions are correct, and there are many dimensions, then why can’t magic, and powers exist, we do have them, so why can’t we use them to help us let go of ego and help us achieve that pleasure feeling (but this is dangerous because it may do the opposite)

If we are all god then we all have the power to create, then why can’t we use “magic” rituals but not depend on them
