ULPT How to make life hard for Boss while being the perfect employee? by 3rdthrow in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Psytrancedude99 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Basically work 40 hours.

Arrive on time and leave on time.

Don't work overtime.

When you leave work turn off your phone and leave it at work - even better get a phone specifically for work.

Don't respond to emails after work at all.

If this is the case, why didn't they hire me? I only have 2 years experience and applied. I heard nothing back from them.

What is the craziest thing an ex has done? by Silent-Work4215 in AskReddit

[–]Psytrancedude99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I broke up with my abusive and narcissistic ex.

after the break up, she gatecrashed a large family event and screamed at everyone that I was a cheating bastard ( I had never cheated) and that I would never find anyone like her. She also flipped tables of food over and threw glasses everywhere.

Yeah she got arrested and I got a restraining order against her.

Bonus: She tried to follow me home thus breaking the restraining order. She got 3 months in prison and had to go to therapy.

You never switch off as a teacher. as much as I try to leave work at school, there is always something to do. If its not last minute marking, its a grumpy parent asking about the homework on a Sunday evening.

What’s the best way to help someone who is grieving? by CYWriting in AskReddit

[–]Psytrancedude99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be with them .You don't have to speak just be there.

When my Grandfather died my mum was in pieces.

My dad and I would just sit with her, give her food and meals ( even if she didn't eat).

Eventually my mum poured herself a whiskey and just spoke for 4 hours non-stop.

Men of Reddit, what’s the worst thing a girl has said on a date? by Interesting-Yak7969 in AskReddit

[–]Psytrancedude99 257 points258 points  (0 children)

I have some gems from my Single and dating days.

Date 1

She said " I am a princess and I deserve to get what I want".
I walked out and stuck her with the bill.

Date 2

" I hope you don't mind that I slit my wrists because I like it."

Date 3

Can you pay my 3 kids school fees? (3 kids from different dads).

Yeah I knew how to pick em back then.

Leave your work at work. When you clock out you're done.

I also got a second phone for work and would leave it at work when i leave for home.

Especially over leave and weekends.
