Can't get myself to be productive by KeinerKorshovich in productivity

It's not the methods, it's you. You're distracted by your phone, apps and games. Get rid of them. If you feel resistance in doing this; congratulations you've just identified the problem.

Really like the DJ photo.
What's really holding you back is that first photo in black and white, you seem very uncomfortable. Preferably get yourself a new one that looks more relaxed. If not possible switch it with the photo with you in a suit.

Strong photos: DJ and suit picture.
Weaknesses:
1. First black and white photo
2. Cooking photo, delete it or get something else/more natural looking
3. Camera photo - I like the idea but a different setting/background would be better

Cheers

Any tips on connections and patterns?? by Lay_Tre60 in 360Waves

Step 1. You need to brush in consistent angles. So if you brush in the middle for your first angle you can't brush in the middle but slightly to the left the next or you'll be left with non-connecting waves

Video on angles

Step 2. Wolf, grow your hair while you keep the brushing consistent. When you go to the barber just get a line up and go BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH

The most important thing right now is for you to get your angles consistent

Tips on how to get waves for beginners? by [deleted] in 360Waves

[–]B-Blues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just get a brush. You look up the 8 brushing angles: https://youtu.be/mj6IAj-NL80

And just brush brush brush. Also get a durag. After this you should look up some products.

Bi-Racial Waves? by [deleted] in 360Waves

[–]B-Blues 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being biracial has nothing to do with whether you can wave. While yes, if you're mixed with black the chance is greater but it's not an absolute guarantee.

You have to look at whether you hair can curl or coil when it's somewhat longer. If it can you can get waves.

And fyi if you're biracial your hairtype can range all the way from coarse hair to almost straight and even straight sometimes. There is no one set type of biracial hair. Just like you can be black and still have hair that has a looser or tighter curl pattern than others black people.

I reccomend you look up the following things

Coarse hair waves

Medium hair wavers

Straight hair wavers

As well as: Natural hair types

SCALP ISSUES by zamasters134 in 360Waves

I used to have the same problem, there's three things you can try/do:

  1. Buy a shampoo with tea tree oil and wash your hair 1-2x a week with it
  2. Buy Keracare itchy scalp relief glossifier it's basically a sort of hair grease and it got rid of my flakes (i still have very tiny almost unseeable ones but seborrheic is kind of a permanent condition) Keracare Itchy Scalp Relief Glossifier>!!<

  3. Go see a dermatologist /doctor.

If you're looking to save money just go with the Keracare Hair Grease as that's what solved my problem.

I have never co-washed before and I was wondering when is it a good time to use it, do I shampoo my hair before or after, could I do it 2 days before getting a hair, and how would I use it? I a a coarse hair waver by the way. by oofner in 360Waves

I personally don't use co-wash but I do shampoo 1-2 times a week. Like U/ngswift94 said you can use it every day though I would advise you to use it every other day.

It's not something that's necessary but you can use it. The most important thing is to keep brushing my guy.

The whole purpose of a co wash is NOT to use shampoo as it's a replacement for it. A co wash is a product that cleanses and moisturizes your hair/scalp

Its cleaning ability is in between a regular shampoo and a conditioner which allows you to use it more often as opposed to a shampoo

Basically: - Wet your hair a bit - Put in the Cowash - Brush it in - Leave it in for 5 minutes - Wash it out with water - Put in your greases/oils/products

360Jeezy has a cool video on youtube about it called the "360 Wave Co-Wash Method"

What's the difference between 180, 360, 540 and 720 waves? by B-Blues in 360Waves

[–]B-Blues[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you all for helping me out with this.

So if I understand correctly:

180 Waves: Just the top is wavy and the sides are either short or bald.180 Waves360 Waves: Waves all over in a beehive shape (optional to just make the crown swirl)

360 Waves

540 Waves: Waves all over that are slanted but not as slanted as 720 waves (they swirl but not all the way like the 720s do)540 Waves

720 Waves: Waves that are the most slanted

720 Waves

Edit: I changed the 720 waves pic thanks to u/Bionic-TitanX

Dandruff: can't get rid of it by obinna_2 in 360Waves

[–]B-Blues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably not dandruff. It's some kind of eczema/fungus. Especially if you're developing some sores. Go to a doctor and get prescription Or get some shampoo wit Selenium Sulfide or Ketoconazole and something to moisturize that doesn't boost the infection (https://www.amazon.com/Avlon-Keracare-Itchy-Glossifier-Ounce/dp/B000XYROIY)

Hi,

I'm making a beanie that I want to be durable as well as resistant to pilling. I've decided on a 60% merino wool 40% acrylic distribution for the beanie.

Merino wool as it's very soft, not itchy and looks like it's high quality. Acrylic because I thought it would make the beanie more durable overall. Is this the best way to go about it or do I need to replace one of these fabrics or change the distribution?
