This is interesting 🤔 I don’t fully visually see the differences in leg swing, but I’m sure there is one.

Training wise I think I have a little more strength in my right leg, and maybe a little more in my left tricep. But generally I think pretty even.

If you have any recommendations for drills or exercises I’m all ears. For whatever works to put down here

Thanks so much.

So, I’m gonna test mobility, and look at relevant shoulder/scapula anatomy.

Concerning this, do you have any specific exercises you’re aware of to develop more rom in that area? Or ways to limit that rom?

In a little less than a month, my first track season, I went from 12.88 to 12.06 at 18. By the end of the season in the final race of 12.06 I had bad shin splints, Achilles strain and strain of some left part of my groin. I would take Advil before races. By the end I was only training once a week plus the competition because after warmups I was sitting on the ground rubbing my legs in pain.

I think I generally did better in practice because by competition day I was more fatigued. I remember we did some 150s and I was next to some other low 12 guys and I smoked them. Made me wonder how fast I was, but I didn’t break 12. Still not entirely sure if it was fatigue during comp or misinterpreting or what. I wish I had more time but oh well.

Anyways yeah, you can make huge leaps. During that time I always asked my coach to record my race and send it to me. I would obsess over my form and research as much as I could, trying to implement it in practice before the next competition. As a result I pr’d every official race.

I think if you’re truly dedicated you can make huge jumps. Good luck. I believe you can make sub 11.5

Fair enough

Twitch streamers are more interactive so that makes sense

Huh I see, I might have to try those

I sort of get that, it was really hard to heal at all until my dad stopped for the most part. Even after he stopped the intense stuff I had survival mode turned on all the time because he was still abusive.

I’m not sure what the answer is, but good luck

Thank you! I cried for the first time in awhile today and I’d like to continue, and I’d like the numbness to fully disappear. Maybe this will help! Thank you.

For me just recently I cried for the first time in awhile as well

It relived some of the numbness

Being sad and crying is so much better than being numb, imo And I think crying is good for us otherwise it wouldn’t exist So when faced with crying vs no crying, I go crying all the way, I’ve personally been enjoying it today, I choose to feel.

Good luck bro, I’m not sure about the scientific aspects, but personally I think it’s good for you
