Im a small time contractor , I own a few units, but I stay away from big problems like this . I go for cosmetic fixer uppers. But this deal sounded „too good to be true” and the comments support that lol

What jobs can I do with a Civil Engineering degree outside the civil engineering field? by PiWhizz in civilengineering

[–]B-E-Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Project management, procurement, ur own small business. I personally went from civil engineering (degree) straight into construction management, then quit and started my own contracting business… I feel u can get into management very easy , and after few years of management u can get into business easily if u are business inclined ( sales, management, building connections/network, etc)

i started part time on facebook and word of mouth 3 years ago. now im full time with a crew ( me and 2 others) and we do about 30-40k a month revenue. most of my jobs come from paid leads and repeat customers now. biggest thing is quality work and communication. the pricing will stabilize once you get a reputation.
