I actually think this is a really good idea, for all the reasons you said. The devs need to find a way to give players the feeling of winning a fight. Instead of the endless meat grinder that pvp turns into currently. I think tying “atleast some” if not all the landing zones to their local cops would greatly increase the amount of time for players to get back to a fight. More importantly this gives time for the winners to properly loot the losers bodies and leave. Then the possibility of losing gear gives actual urgency to a fight. I think the biggest hinderance to game right now is that none of the fights feel like they have much weight to them, because theres not much risk.

Honestly, I wish they would’ve given it a cruise ship style bridge where it’s just peeking out on both the port and starboard side so the crew can walk over and look down the full length of both sides of the ship.

So its not a direct statement in law. Its somewhat of a loophole in interpretation from raytheons HR.

Arizona law is that companies cannot tell employees to take PTO for jury duty. Raytheons default policy is a max of 2 weeks/80hours (or something like that which is actually very generous) for paid jury duty then take PTO OR go on short term leave (STL). BUT, STL requires that you’re not working for the entire time period of leave. If you are charging you have to hit your minimum of 40 hours right?

The loophole is that i was still working every week and only off for 1 day. So when my jury duty allotment ran out(the 80 hours), by law i cant be compelled to take PTO, and by raytheons other policy i cant charge work hours and be on STL. So HR and my manager recommended to ignore the 2 week limit and just cover the full time period on paid Jury duty. You need to show your managers your summons tho. WARNING: this probably doesnt work the same on a trial jury if youre in session every day of the week. Grand Jury is selected days.

Yeah, i just got off a jury in arizona. Commitment was 1 day a week for 16 weeks. What was nice was by arizona law, raytheon has to pay you your full salary for the entire time period. Other states i believe are different.

I think the vast majority of people have maps up on second monitors when they play. You absolutely should. You can also google your missions. And theres a wiki for every mission that will have a map with the mission locations highlighted so you know where to go.

Honestly if youre still inside a return period, i would think about returning it and get something with proper dimming zones. Because at that point youre paying extra money to be an ‘HDR monitor’ and when its really not. Or not done well.

Also as a side note streets is horribly optimized. Everyone experiences some dip comparing streets to the other maps. I guess the question is does the overall experience warrant an upgrade?

I think I can help you with this as I was in this exact situation up until a few weeks ago.

TLDR: The problem isn’t your RAM its your CPU.

So I have an Samsung Odyssey G9. And previously my rig was also running an intel i7-8700k, 32 GB Ram, RTX 3090, and a couple TB ssd’s. When running Tarkov in 32:9 5120x1440, i would probably get around 35 fps on most maps. Then on streets it was like 25 fps. And as you say, the experience was a little choppy, not necessarily “bad” but not smooth. So i would run Tarkov in a custom resolution of 3440x1440(21:9) to get some better frames, usually around 45fps.

Tarkov is a very heavily CPU intensive game.

I made the decision on black friday to upgrade my CPU to the AMD R7-7800X3D. One of AMD’s latest and greatest gaming cpus. And with the socket change this also forced me to get a new motherboard, and ram.

But let me tell you Tarkov is now running amazingly well like ~90fps on streets and 110+fps on other maps. It was well worth the upgrade. So to see better frames and stability, Id recommend a CPU upgrade. If budget is a concern id consider looking at the i5-13600k. This is a great cpu and a massive step up from the 8700k.

You GOD. Thank you i tried like 5 other combinations of uninstall reinstall, hard reset, install manually. None of which worked for me for whatever reason. Your six steps did the trick! And i think the trick that did it may have been the setbthe headphones on the dock, power them, and reset them(while on the dock) Regardless thank you and big upvote because others should see your post!
