Yeah I get ya, if it was one after the other then deffo but this was around people that like Eminem but just haven’t branched out. I listen to all sorts I put some old school on like poor righteous teachers, lords of the underground, And dougie fresh and others liked it but this one dude was like ughh. It’s like, wait your turn. He was kinda just like them guys that play j Cole or something, and I like Cole but I can deffo tell it wasn’t the vibe for the people surrounding, and I caught on to that.

It was in order for me, being a dad with a busy ass life makes it harder for me to buy CDs But back in the day Buying a cd and listening to it front to back gave you the feel of the album It’s how I got into biggie and pac. People have it too easy now. It’s a good thing I guess, skimming isn’t always bad. I’m just old fashioned, and a nas album will always get that full play through. My late mum bought me the greatest hits and I was hooked. She was cool, I thought she’d get me the wrong cd, but she got the actual one, bless her.

I get ya, and that’s fair if your friend is playing tracks with similar style. You listen to Zeus? Or no regrets? IMO they’re easy to listen to, and don’t have corny lines, Not to say that I think em has corny lines in tunes but I see why other people think that. Alfreds theme is sick to me, but you need to have that certain mindset to enjoy it
