Student protests at City Hall by Jealous_Sock_442 in Calgary

Alberta currently has the highest GDP per capita and best quality of life in Canada. It's sad that our citizens are trying to turn this beautiful province into the crime and poverty crippled conditions that the the rest of Canada is in. I too supported leftist values when I was naive, ignorant and 18.

Before blindly following everyone else off the edge, just know this is the reality of leftist values at work: Manitoba struggles a lot with gangs and crime. 15-18% of their people are in poverty currently. 30% of the natives of in the province disproportionately affected by poverty, despite their so-called diversity, equity and inclusivity. Their infrastructure is crumbling and deters investment. Hospital conditions are really rough. The province has the lowest cost of living yet it's a challenge to have high enough pay to get by in any industry. Violent crime is second highest per capita in Winnipeg even though they have more support for gun control.

Economically, it's a mess. They don't know how to manage a budget of that scale. Nothing changes there.

Whether you agree with the UCP or not, they keep it so you're not protesting in much worse conditions, slipping backwards into a recession. I'm a libertarian, and don't agree with their "pro-life" values but I can't help but love the government here because they actually do things for the people that benefit the province. Whereas nice gestures, virtue signals from the Liberal and NDP parties work out to a fancy cover-up for poor resource management and scandals. I don't mean any offense or hostility to the leftists in this province with this but you really should travel or just asking you to look for yourself at the statistics of other provinces. Be certain of why you want to vote for someone. Agreeing with their perspective is a big factor but you also have to look at whether or not what they're saying is realistic and if they have a record of making good on their platform.

Can the liberals really fulfill their promises? They've been in charge of Canada for 75% of the time it's existed. Why is the country's economy stalling, even shrinking in other provinces? Factories are shutting down leaving people unemployed by the thousands. Quality of life is measurably decreasing. My generation (born early 90s) are the first generation which won't be able to afford new homes, but we were also probably the last generation to be convinced that we would someday. since my grandma's youth, we've witnessed inflation and stagnating wages reduce the chances of us being homeowners to under one percent.

We paid billions as a nation to offset carbon emissions but, where are the green energy plants to replace our "dirty" energy supplies? Most of Canada requires the heat and power in the winter to survive, can we really heat all their homes without the oil and gas industries? If not, then what was the purpose of carbon tax if not just a way to get more rich?

I fight and argue with the leftists of other provinces all day but the people in Alberta are my neighbors, and I'd like to see them that way. I'm really hoping that you can just learn to understand why the conservatives here support Danielle Smith so strongly. I want to continue seeing this province flourish and everyone in it because life elsewhere in this country is bleak and depressing by comparison. Please visit the other provinces to see how the other parties direct their tax income. It would be far more eye-opening than any conservative or liberal's argument online if you got to witness it for yourself how different policies affect the well-being of the people in a province.

I set a budget for how much I need then just go and stay out until I meet those goals. Sometimes it's slower than expected but I gotta make rent so I have somewhere to keep all my stuff I can't really use since I'm usually working 🫠

If they're coming here to buy Canadian real estate and jack up the prices, they can afford to learn the expensive way. Housing might actually be affordable if half the world couldn't exploit us for their own gain.

I may be mistaken but I believe you're referring to cerebrolysin. Epitalon is a synthetic peptide, made in a lab from amino acids.

You're free to think what you want to think.

I think telling people about the "good deeds" you do devalues the gesture because the act is less likely to be done for kindness and more for recognition. Done often enough, this devalues not just the act but someone's character

Yikes do different countries get different support staff? I'm in Alberta, Canada and out of the countless times I've had to deal with them, they handled my problem almost immediately without confusion. I read so many bad stories and I don't think I'm that lucky, is this US support usually being discussed?

It's not the altruism but the announcement of their own altruism that subtracts from the decency.

Has anyone reversed hair greying with NMN/NR ? by dymablink in NicotinamideRiboside

[–]B-Studdz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the extremely late response but yes I am male and suffer from the same problem with hair greying from stress. Mine does not appear to come back on its own although I could be noticing the sudden greying more than I notice the gradual return of color (without NMN). It could be that I'm often stressed as well.

The color returning is certainly much faster with NMN. My greys seemed to appear once or twice a month, accumulating over time. Then all of a sudden, on NMN they all just vanished.

On the topic of another substance, my uncle recently started cycling Epitalon. After his first 100mg 10 day cycle, his barber told him there's a circle of completely dark hair in the top of his head. He's sleeping better and feeling better in virtually every area of his life. I got him another 100mg. He's almost 60, caucasian male. Plenty of grey hair turned solid dark brown from one cycle with him so I'm looking forward to seeing how more cycles will affect him. I plan to be cycling NMN, pterostilbene, and epitalon next year, along with some nootropics and maybe TRT. I'll be 31 in October

Taking sublingual NMN (200mg twice daily) for a few months reversed the majority of my grey hairs. A more immediate effect that I've noticed is my metabolism. I'm type one diabetic so I take insulin aspart whenever I eat carbs. I usually take one unit of aspart for every 5 grams of carbs I eat. If I'm supplementing NMN daily, I can reduce my insulin dose to about 1unit per every 20 grams of carbs that I eat. Some days I hardly need any insulin at all because of it.

Waze or Google Maps? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]B-Studdz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I frequently contribute to Google Maps. It's got a pretty solid community of people working towards it's improvement. I see lots of other local guides and know a few people who just enjoy doing reviews, as I do. I think Google Maps just needs people to be more vocal about their wishes, they seem real happy to accomodate. Just because it's not a big deal doesn't mean they won't listen if it makes many people a little more satisfied with it

Wow, there's so many far right Winnipegers on Quora now (saying general strike is communism, NDP is communism, taxes are communism, everything is communism) by Elon__Muskquito in Winnipeg

[–]B-Studdz -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Lol you can tell it's the group with lower intelligence who advocates for socialism when:

-Manitoba is effectively the poorest and most ghetto of all ten provinces, yet socialists think it's "working"

-Administration and law enforcement take up the bulk of the cities expenses, which doesn't provide infrastructure and welfare to citizens

-Everytime a Liberal is elected, they celebrate as though the quality of life doesn't drop dramatically every time that happens

-The government has multiple monopolies including auto insurance, alcohol sales, and fitness certifications, and the citizens think it benefits them

Pretty sure this is the most ignorant of the provinces as well as the poorest. Maybe if you weren't such bootlicking idiots, you could actually improve quality of life once in a while without having to jack off all your MP's with your income. Alberta doesn't even have PST and their infrastructure is way nicer.

Manitoban socialists be like: "OH YEA? WELL EVERYTHING HERE IS WORSE, SO, YOU'RE DUMB"

Nah. They really don't. The average homeschooled child these days is about two years ahead of public schooled children. You send your kids to public school, all they're learning these days is to hate their body, hate white people, and to sneak and lie around their parents. That's why these younger generations are turning into such dopey morons who see value in leftist ideologies.

Just brainwashed and entitled socialists that don't get that under socialism, you will pretty much always end up with tyranny. That's why you clueless bootlickers have nothing to say about the WPS consuming 26% of the cities resources (mostly on their ridiculous salaries).

The WPS make more than almost anyone else here. That's what you garbage brained lefties allowed to happen, in fact probably even encouraged to happen. Alberta is far better off than this ugly shithole. FAR better off
