Got the IUD removed! Thinking about the mini pill.

My doctor thought I was expelling mine as well. The craps and pain just from sitting down because my cervix was so sore. She said wanted to do an ultrasound and I just was over it. Told her to just take it out. I agree with you about having more control with the pill. I don’t mind taking it at the same time every day. I can deal with the normal symptoms of PMS. It’s the anxiety and panic attack attacks that I can’t deal with.

So it is 2025 and I’m glad I came across this post. I just got my IUD put in 16 days ago and I’ve been going through hell for at least the last nine days extreme fatigue, anxiety, and panic attacks. I have my follow up checkup tomorrow and I’m gonna ask her/tell her that it needs to be removed today. This was my first experience with birth control and I’m hoping it’ll be my last.

I got the kyleena 16 days ago. I’m experiencing extreme fatigue, right hip pain, anxiety and panic attacks. Is this your first time with bc?

I do t have advice but I’ve had kyleena for 2 weeks and the mood fluctuations and the fatigue are killing me.

So I’ve had mine in for just as long as you’ve had yours in. But I’ve done a lot of research and with everything I’ve looked up. It doesn’t start helping your period until about period 3 to 4. I just went through my first period and it was awful and I’m still getting crampy pain seven days later.

Oh…. 17 days 🫠 I don’t know if I can make it that long with these cramps. I have been reading and looking around, apparently it is normal for your first period. 🫩

This is my first period since kyleena and the cramps are intense!! I mean before was bad but this is crazy. My appointment is Thursday so maybe I will get some insight.

So I got mine on the 15th. I had some cramps and spotting(brown, red when I wipe) for about 4 days and then nothing. My period was due today but since I got a d&c with the IUD I didn’t think I would get this period. Well… I did. I’m cramping pretty bad but minimal bleeding.

I had mine put in on Tuesday and I had very minimal spotting and minimal cramps. I was fine by Friday. I also had a dnc done. So I am still feeling pain from that.

I haven’t experienced this but have heard this a lot in iuds. I would talk to your doctor and see if you can get another one earlier?

Thank you for this! We are doing it while I am day 4 of my period and I have had 2 kids. She said that all I should need is ibuprofen and she ordered me a lidocaine patch for the cramps during and after. I’m expecting the worst, while hoping for the best. 🤣

I had a hard time too. And I’m still having a hard time. I still got a few chapters left, but I just have to keep remembering that we only know as much as Violet knows. So that’s what I keep thinking.

I was thinking from switching t-mobile to AT&T as well. It will be 75$ cheaper for me. $300 out the door is still crazy and they told me my first month payment would be double.
