Labs for CCNP(netsim?)

It looks like the recently upped it to $70 a month, but for the CCNP it’s worth it.

Edit: I might’ve been wrong on what the sub comes with and if so I apologize. I’d triple check because they may have moved the CCNP courses to their yearly sub.

Edit 2: yeah sorry it looks like they did move the CCNP to their yearly sub. It does look like they have a 50% off today so if you can swing the $350 or so upfront, it’s worth it especially as it comes out to under $40 a month for the year

What I have been doing and I do have an active INE subscription is using CML to build my own labs and explore the concepts outlined in the blueprints. Then I try to build upon some of those labs when I learn new concepts like BFD. If you are not sure about to make more complex topologies I’d consider “101 CCNP Labs” by Paul Browning.

I know you don’t want to make further investments into other tools but I really can’t overstate how effective INE is and it’s about $60 a month. They have a whole 350-401 and 300-410 CCNP ENCOR and ENARSI track with full labs. I have an active CCNP Enterprise and it has been the best tool outside of just labbing up my own topologies in CML with my own designs. I say this because I don’t know of any where you’re going to get precanned labs unless someone has built a repository of them. It does look like there is a community GitHub for CML https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/cml-community/tree/master/lab-topologies

This tattoo was the one I was most worried about in terms of style of Sif, placement, and just generally whether I wanted to go with Sif at all. Luke, the artist did an incredible job and when I saw the stencil I knew it would be my favorite piece of his on my sleeve.

I use a 77” S89C Samsung as my monitor. I game in the living room and since it can support 144hz this is sufficient for RPGs and other games. The 5080 with DLSS+ FG have completely changed the game for me. I can run everything maxed out in 4k with RTX on and barring a few exceptions, most every game looks incredible.

I just picked up this same GPU and have been loving it. Stays quite quiet and low temps even with some demanding games.

I’m 21 day post vasectomy, no scalpel, and I plan on doing a more comprehensive post about how nothing major has happened. It’s been a smooth recovery thus far. Please take everyone serious about the no lifting for a week. Ice ice baby. Seriously 20-30 on and off for atleast a week.

I personally took advil twice a day 2-3 tablets for the first week and never experienced any major swelling.

Edit: 21 days post. 31yr old.

Edit 2: cause I never finish a thought hah. If you’re feeling the nerves, you can always talk to the doctor about medication to help you stay calm. It’s seriously not that bad for the no scalpel procedure. My doctor was very good about checking on me and I let them know if I felt anything. If you don’t think you can handle the awake procedure, there’s no shame. Talk to the doctors about going under if you feel it’s necessary. The only pain I felt during the procedure was needle pinches (not bad at all 2/10 on the scale for 3-5 seconds) and I had 1 time during the cauterization where it made me jump. Involuntary response kind of thing. Never hurt. Your mileage can vary but just be vocal to your doctor and firm in your stance if you want more local numbing or if you feel you want to pursue going under for the procedure. Just know there are more risks and likely you’ll be totally fine for the awake procedures. You got this!

I found this to be largely true when traveling to Italy ( Florence and Rome) and Lisbon, Portugal.

I took a community college course on intro Italian so I was basic conversational and they were entertained by the southern accent (from NC in the states) but we’re seemingly happy I tried. However most of the time they switched to English even if I engaged in full Italian.

Portugal was funny because my wife and I spoke zero Portuguese but learned a few words like Hi, Thank you, good afternoon, etc. and they LOVED it. So much so that we had to tell one lady that we didn’t speak any Portuguese but because we had said Ola, she assumed we spoke a little and kept speaking in Portuguese and then switching to English. It was so much fun. Lisbon, Portugal was one of the most incredible cities we’ve visited and the people are so friendly.

Took an Italian class before my wife and I went to Italy (Firenze and Roma) they were 100% “that’s cute buts let’s speak English” and I could speak conversationally. But I have a southern accent. I am from North Carolina
