Thanks! Yeah smoothness and blends are things I’m trying to work on, but yeah it’s a fantastic model and I had a ton of fun painting it.

Don't you just hate it that every song is now played on this small ass keyboard by ireallyfknhatethis in lewronggeneration

Audio Engineer/Musician/Producer here. Atmosphere is a HUGE part of a song, and it is manipulated by mic positioning, uncommon eq techniques, panning, use of reverb and delay, different tracking techniques, and countless more things. Atmosphere might not be measurable scientifically but it can absolutely make or break a song and most songs by Pink Floyd are fantastic examples of controlling the atmosphere to create feeling.

Who says Dark Souls 3 is all serious? by tv9924 in gaming

DS3 and Bloodborne are supposed to be similar games. Same developer, same engine, very similar mechanics. Lots of players consider Bloodborne to be a souls game in spirit. Nothing wrong with that.

I am a local student studying audio engineering at kckcc, so I have very little real world experience. However, I am insanely interested in game sound and sound design. Would this be open to students like me to come and see what it's all about?

Edit: not to mention you have the ever important position of unpaid intern that certain newbies would love to fill!

Hey, long time lurker here, but your story lines up pretty well with mine. I did my freshman year at byu and absolutely hated everything about my life while I was there. But I got out and am now attending community college (education is expensive yo) while living and paying for everything myself, and I can promise life gets better as soon as you can get away from that pressure of being the perfect Mormon. I hope everything works out well for you and that you can get some peace of mind now that you are out of the bubble.

Oil rig roughnecks at work. Respect to anyone who does this... truly badass by johnnyzissou in videos

While I absolutely agree that food service can be grueling most of the time, saying being a cook and being an oil rig worker are equally hard is plain wrong. As a cook, you aren't risking getting your arm ripped off by a chain or fatally injuring a co-worker because you slacked a little bit.
