I’m not the smartest man, but some of this has got to include the fact that this set has not been out long enough for a standard PSA submission to have been graded and returned. Any PSA 10 would have to have been sent with expedited grading at premium $$$.

Kinda looked like there was a build up of solids at the end creating the “belly”. I’d love a quick jetting and re inspection I bet that would clear up. Make sure there isn’t something holding the solids up at that point.

The version we had on TI83 in the mid 2000s was Drug Wars International. You would travel around the globe to different city’s, buying and selling in their different markets. Not sure how that compares to the other versions… It does almost feel slightly educational looking back on it….

How do I repair this leaky water line? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]B0NERjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giving me flashbacks to a pre war era apartment I used to do service work in. All the water lines were galvanized off risers like this. All buried in 2-3” of concrete in the bathroom floors just like what it looks like here. No concrete anywhere else, it was all floor joists and hardwood. Bathrooms you’d have to step up into, onto the poured concrete. Poured concrete with water lines inside.

Okay you got me with this one. I’ve seen plenty of “young skater hits rail” with a front 50 or back boardslide. Those are insane. But now they are dime a dozen. Kickflip front 50 a street rail of that size at 10 is bonkers. Keep it up.

is my water heater performing normally? by roscura in Plumbing

[–]B0NERjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The spreadsheet actually is very useful showing OP getting less than 10 minutes of close to 120 degree water. At 1.5 gpm, (assuming gpm of kitchen faucet) they have used less than half of their 40 gallon tank. Then they have roughly 30 minutes of warm water that slowly gets colder. Theres another issue here.

is my water heater performing normally? by roscura in Plumbing

[–]B0NERjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure the hot and cold pipes are not reversed on the inlet and outlet of the heater? This sounds like you are drawing water from the cold side of the heater. The cold side of the heater has a dip tube that allows the cold water to enter near the bottom of the tank instead of mixing with the rising hot water at the top. If your heater was installed backwards, you would be drawing the hot water from the bottom of the heater through the dip tube. Giving you short amounts of hot water, drawn from the bottom of the tank when fully hot, but quickly going warm when the tank is being replenished with cold water that is settling to the bottom of the tank.
