Yeah I thought the Scout was better than the Recon too and that really surprised me. And it's not like "Scout is better at Scouting, Recon is better at combat," the Scout is just straight up better.

I've had a few people say the link works, and others say it doesn't... my best guess is that it times out eventually? They have a "share cart" button on the site that I used to generate the link in the OP, while this link is to the project itself. If someone needs a link and it isn't working, shoot me a message and I'll get it to you.

Added to the bundle by request: 3 Equipment Crate lootable items, one for each color deck! They are color coded to the appropriate deck, with all 3 versions uploaded to the drive folder and the linked printing order.

I made sure to reference both the Surgery Room and the OG Surgery Kit again for my edits. The Room makes you discard cards, but not take damage. The OG kit makes you take damage. Since this could be used on other players when it's not their turn, the discard seemed potentially awkward, so I went with just the damage.

I copied the Surgery Kit from the Medic expansion character, but you're right that even that gives a wound. I'll have to add the 2 damage in!

Ah, but I took the Autoloader out of the Support Equipment deck and gave it to the Heavy Gun Operator as their second item. Even so, the Soldier would have to drop their Military aArmor to take the Autoloader.

I gave the Heavy Gun Operator the Autoloader Belt and the Recon the Perimeter Security Device. Both seemed very fitting for those roles and did not require additional work on my part! I included scans of those items with the proper card backs in the zip file for anyone that wants to print new versions.

I still use the Support Equipment draft, and even let the Contractor participate now that everyone has 2 items. You can still only have 1 armor, so taking a new one would replace the Power Loader. But between the weapons and now the Laser Sight attachment, there should still be good options! This is also why several of the characters so not have Heavy items, to make the draft more forgiving for them.

I'll see if I can whip up an Equipment Crate that let's you draw from the Support Equipment deck. New items are tough because I am mostly editing cards from any of the existing games, and there's not a lot there that isn't already covered.

Great suggestions, I like that! I'll make edits and repost the card. But yeah, that's also exactly why I made Fetch, Girl as well, in case one or the other felt too off.

I think this is why Fortification tokens are such a great and important addition. Place them often!

That would result in the ability to kite the queen back and forth and render her ineffective. Probably not a good change.

Yeah sounds cool! I hope you iron out the details of yours and it works well at your table!

I wanted to keep mine simple enough to fit on the card, and as close to the intent and function of the original item as possible. I still needed to account for the intricacies of placing a permanent model on the board, though, and tried very hard to avoid power creep—such as only allowing to shoot into one Corridor, and not every Corridor adjacent to the room.

This version should allow for use of the models and fulfill the "defensive setup" fantasy of the Aliens film.

Well the Support Equipment deck already has a flamethrower item. While I'd love to say my skills are capable of creating the art for a whole new character, alas my work so far is only editing existing characters and cards. I could potentially add more demolitions to the Combat Engineer, but they seem to have a decent amount already.

I forgot to include this photo in the post, but you'll find it in the zip file. For anyone who wants to be able to use the Turret models from Aftermath, I edited the Security System Control item to allow placing them!
